Well before Scythian General Milesius' conquest of Spain, a seer prophesied to him that his descendants were destined to rule an island country located not that far away in the Atlantic Ocean. Milesius then proceeded to conquer all the lands between Scythia and Spain on his way to fulfill the prophecy.

His wife Scota Tephi and her brother-in-law sailed for the island with a band of soldiers right after the brother-in-law espied the coastline of the Emerald Isles. supposedly from a tower set atop a mountain. Soon after their arrival, the Tuatha Dãae Dananne, the indigent Irish tribe who greeted them, killed Milesius' brother.

Upon her return to Spain with his body, she found that her husband had died. She and her six sons with their army soon afterward returned to Ireland to exact revenge for the death of Milesius's brother and fulfill the seer's prophecy. They defeated the tribe but the heroic Cleopatra Tephi died from her wounds after their victorious battle at what is now know as Tara Hill. Two of her sons, Ir and Heremon, became the first two High Kings of Ireland. Though she sacrificed her life to fulfill the prophecy, Tephi's heroism served to meld a strong bond between her clan and the powerful Tuatha Dãae Dananne druid clan. In fact, it was so strong that the resulting linage ruled Ireland for the next 2,500 years, or until the Norman conquest of Britain.

She was the first Egyptian princess to set foot on Irish soil. Several more would arrive during the next millennium, the most important being Scota Meryaten who brought the Stone of Destiny and the Torah with her from Egypt. She was the daughter of Ahkenaten (first known as Amenhotep IV), the Sun King, who fled Egypt with her husband Gathelos to avoid persecution by Egyptian polytheistic priests after her father's death. There are those, including the late Siegmund Freud, who believe that Ahkenaten was Moses in reality, and with good reason. It is thus thought that yet another Scota princess completed the physical transfer of the House of David to Ireland after the death of her father, Zedekiah, the last of the Kings of Judah to rule in Jerusalem.

Ahkenaten was a High Priest of Amarna whose spiritual and magical powers matched or exceeded those that Solomon possessed and employed during his lifetime. You can read actual descriptions of how powerful he was, but you won't sleep well for the rest of your life afterward. Interestingly enough, it's said that God extinguishes the lives of mortals who simply gaze at the contents of the Arc of the Covenant.

By the way, in Gaelic, the word torah is actually spelled tara. Also, scota is the namesake of Scotland and Nova Scotia; Gaythelos is the namesake for Gaelic and Gaul.

My direct ancestral relationship(s) to Queen Scota is perhaps best established through Niall of 9 Hostages(as shown below), one of her most famous descendants. I could trace my relationship to her through Niall but don't plan to owe the amount of time involved in the task(s).
