Write Your Memoir

Hi everyone. One thing I'm taking advantage in my retirement is to keep learning. Today I'm off to attend a workshop on writing your memoir. Someday I may write one of my own. I'll keep you posted as to what I learn.
Have a great day.

David Cameron Hi Nora,
I started writing my memoir in the form of a regular blog, called Cup of Tea Tales and I got such a response that I turned it into a book, Cup of Tea Tales - The Early Years. It is a wonderful experience to bring back your memories and I can say that it is like shaking a bottle of soft drink, and then taking the top off. All your long-lost memories bubble to the surface in a most enjoyable and uncontrollable way. It was quite a change for me as I write fantasy mainly, but I am in the process of working on a thriller. I look forward to seeing yours published.
Good luck
David

Hi David. My memoir is on my list of goals, but I have to finish my Blackbird thriller series first. The Promise is published now, and Chain of Trust will be out soon. The way you approached your memories is a great idea. Would you mind if I followed your lead?

Nora Wolfenbarger For me, writing a memoir is like a child touching a hot stove. I reach out, but when I feel the heat of my memories, I jerk away. Anyone else have this problem?

Feel free to use my approach, Nora.
