Bookmarks etc.
I was thinking of printing off either bookmarks or postcards with my ebook's cover art. I thought I might drop off a few at a local sci-fi convention. Anyone have any input? Good idea? Bad idea?

I have a friend who does bookmarks. She leaves them everywhere and she swears by them.

I use bookmarks with my book's cover art, etc., and people seem to like them. I give them to people I meet all the time when they ask about the book. I've never done a return-on-investment analysis, so I can't help there. The reason I decided to do bookmarks was because I had bought at least one book that I would never have even known about if I hadn't seen the bookmark. So, that's my input - I'd say it's positive.
