Wednesday reading, plus an only tenuously related story & a song
When I get a free moment, I've been enjoying the stories posted in the New Decameron project that Jo Walton organized, though there are so many that I've got bookmarked that I haven't had a chance to read yet. One I *did* read was Naomi Kritzer's

It's indeed amazing how busy we all are when we supposedly have little to do. Funny how that works!

It is! I think with me it's like spending a windfall: "Oh I can use it for this--or this--or this!" Well yes, but not all three! So I could spend time reading the book, or I could make masks, but not both at once.
(Plus there's also the phenomenon of tasks expanding to the time allotted them--I might be more efficient if I also had an editing job on and had to fit these tasks around it.)
