The penultimate part of the New Year Novella has been posted.
[image error]I’ve just posted part 15 of the serial New Year story and it’s a long one. It’s hard to believe it, but I think the story is finally coming to an end, and the final part should be posted a week from now.
A warning that the completed novella will only remain here for two weeks before being removed, trimmed, and polished ready to be published in a collection with some other stories set after Earth Flight.

I really, really, don't want the Jarra stories to end yet. I still want to know do they make it to the alien's plant? Do they find the information they need? Could there be a cure found there? Does she ever meet her sister? Thank you for writing these stories.

I hope you enjoy both the rereading and the end of the novella. Fingers crossed that I get that posted on schedule. I'm not joking when I say that I'm finishing writing these parts only a couple of minutes before posting them. I'm not sure I'd have had the courage to take this approach of live posting a first draft if I'd realised it wouldn't be two or three parts but sixteen!

Those stories will tidy up a few more aftermath details from the Earth Girl trilogy, and if there's enough interest in Earth Prime then the plan is that there'll be a new series about Fortuna.
The novella was supposed to be a short story. Would you believe the whole Earth Girl trilogy was supposed to be a short story too?Yet here we are with an entire Portal Future that has two series already and more planned.
