Strange times

Yeesh, you take one little break and the whole world goes nuts...

Hey all. So... we've got a pandemic going. Not my favorite genre, but it looks like what reality's reading right now.

A few things to say, here. You've probably heard these from other sources, but it's worth repeating.

1. Don't panic. We've got this. The world will go on, and you'll be a part of it if you stay smart. It'll just take time to get through, that's all.

2. We're in this for the long run. How long? Hard to say. But it won't be all doom and gloom, and there will be breaks along the way. Plan for the long-term, and do what you have to survive in the short term.

3. Everybody's stressed right now, so love each other. Forgive slights, reign in tempers. Only way we get through this is if we love and forgive ourselves and others.

4. Practice social isolation as best as you can. I know you're lonely. It's tough. But the more you minimize contact with people outside your household, the more you restrict the disease from spreading. The less the disease spreads, the more people we help to survive.

5. Do what you can to help. We've built a vast, glittering society here, and it may have its rough spots, but overall we've done a pretty sweet job. I don't know your specific skills or talents, but there is some way they can help. There is something you can do to make things easier for someone or multiple someones, and it doesn't matter how small or how big it is. Do what you can.

That's my two cents.

All right. I'll get back to writing. No more vacations for me!

Geoffrey Harbord Agreed, everybody stay safe out there! Also Mr. Seiple, huge fan read and enjoyed all your books thanks for all the hard work. (Dire is my favorite hope we see at least one more trilogy for her eventually)

Anne I just found your Threadbare series this week, and am partway into book 3. This is an absolutely wonderful series. Thank you so much for writing it.

Andrew Seiple Why thank you, Anne, and Geoffrey! I'll do my best to keep writing good books for you.

Neither Dire nor Threadbare are finished, be assured of that...
