Really? Okay, the cannery.

I think I drew the stairs proportionally wide. The cannery would probably take up two-three Chicago lots. Offhand I don't know how wide that is. The living/dining room is huge, the kitchen is not bad, but the lofted office and bedroom are small, probably less than 10 feet across with a 3 foot hall that overlooks the main cannery. There's a door to the basement under the stairs, and some kind of door that lets outside from there (where equipment could have been moved) that they never open.

Sherry F Ha! I love it! It's pretty much what I had mentally envisioned. Were you asked for this?

message 2: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Price Yes, one of the commenters on LJ requested it...probably just jokingly though :)

Bookwatcher Great! It certainly helpful! Oh, now I want to read GhosTV again :-D

Jordan Price Yay, I love hearing that!

Jordan Lombard lol, I always want to read GhostTV over and over again! lol. Especially the astral projection scenes where Jacob's sleeping. ;-)

This is interesting, because it's not how I pictured it in my mind. Like someone on your LJ commented, I pictured the loft opposite the kitchen along the long wall over the stairs, but what you said about the kitchen ceiling makes sense.

Ah, now I really do want to reread those scenes... when I get home I'll have to grab the book.

Victoria Thanks for this. I always love to see plans! Me and my "imagination" - no matter what is described on paper, my brain only has a few default settings for picturing houses and apartments. Every book I read, the characters in it pretty much have the same home in my head lol.

I would like to add though that the downstairs to this drawing is very close to what I had imagined!

Jordan Price I love hearing that you're gearing up for a re-read, Jordan! :D

Vicky, that's hilarious what you say about "default settings," I'm positive I have a few of those myself! Like "car" probably always brings to mind one of the cars I've owned.
