Well, it’s finally here. The moment when store shelves get filled with shiny hardcovers and pre-orders ship and ebooks download and my precious book baby stops being mine.
It’s a moment I’ve lived through ten times now (HOW IS THIS MY TENTH BOOK???) and yet it’s still a head-spinning mix of excitement and panic. Because I want you guys to love this book so badly.
I hope it was worth all these months of waiting. And I want you all to know how much it means to me to have you stick with me–and Sophie–on this incredible journey we’re on. I wouldn’t have this job without you, dear readers. With every single piece of my heart, I thank you.

Okay guys, calm down. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and honestly, shipping isn't necessarily going to change something already written by the author. (sorry all those Foster-Keefes out there) I don't really have a specific ship I am too invested in, but honestly, (I know this is gonna sound weird but hear me out) I feel, at least when I read the books, that I am Sophie. everything she feels, in a way, I feel. Like I said, I dont really partake in ships, but I have to mention how Sophie. Likes. Fitz. I'm not trying to sway you guys in the less than popular Sophitz direction but I feel like rooting for who Sophie roots for. And not that she couldn't change her mind in the future, but for the time being, she is into Fitz much more than Keefe. here's what I'm NOT saying:
1. sophitz is better
2. Keefe has no hope
3. Sophie hates Keefe
4 this is how things are going to be forever.
5 My opinion is completely right.
And what I AM saying is:
1. Sophie has much more of a crush on Fitz than Keefe.
2. At the moment, she isn't entirely aware Keefe likes likes her. (as of book six: Nightfall)
3. At the moment Sophie would probably ship herself with Fitz over Keefe (Sorry Keefe :{ )
Anyway, please don't hate me because it seems like I'm siding with Sophitz, I'm just trying to voice my opinion using a little more words than just typing SOPHITZ or FOSTER KEEFE (not that thats a bad thing, although it is a little tiring to look at lol)
Jordyn, a few things: We are not going to hate you because of a post. Also, I get where you are going. You are just being logical. And It makes sense, all of your reasons. Maybe one day Sophie will know how Keefe feels about her. Till then, it's Sophitz forever!
Thanks, glad you get it! Honestly I dont know how to feel because I like Keefe so, so much too. All I can do is ride it out and trust Shannon.

Before I was a HARDCORE Sokeefe fan, but Fitz was so adorable in this book that I'm starting to question myself and ship Sofitz. I'M LOST AND CONFUSED!
Confessions of a Hardcore Team Foster-Keefer:I ALMOST slipped up and was ok with Sofitz. But nah, I've turned back to being completely Sokeefe. Why?
THESE ARE ALL OPINIONS -- I DO NOT WANT TO OFFEND ANYONE
1. I'm fairly sure that Sokeefe is gonna happen. I have MANY reasons, which I could share if you wanted me to.....
2. Keefe is just so much better in 6 out of 7 books, so.....
3. This book was so much of a transition and a place filler that the characters were just not themselves. None of them were. So Keefe hopefully will be restored to his previous glory in the next book.
4. OPINION OPINION OPINION PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED SOFITZERS Fitz annoys me sometimes in the other six books. Especially with his "But we're Cognates!" thing. And he's so formal and acts like he needs to look over his "subjects" (really his friends) ---- until he breaks down into an angry rage and becomes a pouty 2-year-old and an angsty teen at the same time. OPINION OPINION OPINION PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED SOFITZERS
Totally get it! Not offended at all. Although I do vote for Sophitz!

Okay, another thing. You don' t have problems. You just are confused on what to do. And that's called a complication. I know that the signs are all very confusing, so think what would sophie do? Who do you think Sophie would be most happy with? And that's who is better for her. Even if it hurts you, you know its going to happen. Hope this makes anyone with this problem feel better.

Finished the book, and I loved it. Well, except for the evil cliffhanger. I can’t believe that it finished like that! This was one of the more interesting books, but I still liked it.

Okay, I just finished Flashback and I'M SHOOK!!! I don't wanna say too much but something happens in chapter 51 of Flashback and I literally started ugly crying for about 3 hours. My parents are so confused it's actually funny. I can't believe I have to wait A WHOLE YEAR to get book #8.... I'm officially dead to a point of no return. Well, until #8 comes out and then I'll die again when I finish (or while I'm reading it...)

Soooo, KOTLC brings out a different side of me. I'm not an overly emotional person in the slightest but when I've got one of Shannon's books in my hands, Keefe couldn't even figure out what I'm feeling. Like, when Sandor does what he does after Sophie wakes up from the whole knuckle-crunching incident, I cried. (trying not to spoil) Like actaully cried. I never cry, but something about him almost crying and Sophie almost crying and Sandor being upset with himself and the possibilities of what might happen had me in tears. My friend who also reads the series thinks I'm insane, anybody else gonna join the strangely emotional club?
I didn’t cry, but I was heartbroken! Soooo sad. 😔
I will join... don't worry my friends think I'm insane about this too.
Flashback was a physical blow for me and I will N E V E R be okay. I'm dying because I have to wait a whole year for Keeper #8... and because Shannon has the power to twist the plot, (and because of how Flashback turned out), I bet I'm going to die all over again when Keeper #8 comes out! TEAM FOSTER-KEEFE F O R E V E R!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATTENTION ALL LIMITED EDITION FLASHBACK OWNERS!!! I am in need of assistance. I preordered the exclusive flashback edition and got it, confirmed that it is in fact the special type. I'm currently on about page 660, give or take, and have been wondering where the Fitz POV is. Do you guys have an about spot where the POV is? Like, there is a chance I missed it, or it's still ahead in the book, but I just want to check. I sure haven't noticed anything like the Keefe POV from last year where it was literally all Keefe. Help me out? Thanks guys, you're the best!
I got the kindle edition, and I never saw anything about Fitz’s POV. I didn’t even know it existed, although that could be because I didn’t have the book.
Did you check at the end of the book?

Not yet, I didn't want to spoil it for myself accidentally, I'm on page 735 and I thought someone said the POVs were scattered throughout the book, but I could be wrong.
