Diane Eklund-Abolins I really enjoyed reading your special perspective on each of the four writers: Toni Morrison, Patrick White, Evie Wyld and Per Petterson. It is very true that certain writers can open our eyes to things like dialogue, the use of words or even the length of the novel (or novella). Sometimes, it is in another writer's work that we can find that very small spark that is needed to make our own work transcend the ordinary.
