Unfortunate.

So publication day arrives in the UK (today) and amazon.co.uk announce that The Lucifer Chord is currently out of stock. Not ideal, if I'm honest. In fact, this has put a total dampener on what should have been a celebratory day, given that I think this title is in the top five of the 13 paranormal thrillers I've written, if not in the top three. I'd like to be philosophical, but I'm not, since this was completely avoidable. Book #13. Unlucky for some. Unlucky for me, anyway. Sorry to be negative, but bitterly disappointed.

Craig Lish Any reason given to how/why this happened?

Jodie I admire your restraint - I'd be ranting and raving.

F.G. Cottam I was assured on Monday by the publisher that this would be resolved, 'very soon.' That's obviously a relative term, because it's Thursday now and it still has't been. It's a shame because I'd put The Lucifer Chord in the top five of the paranormal thrillers I've written, if not the top three. A completely wasted opportunity. And no coherent explanation.

Marion Armstrong Your fans & paranormal thriller readers will be on "extra red alert" Francis! This may even work in your favour! The Lucifer Chord will be a massive success, I'm certain :-)

Robert Greenfield Francis, I can imagine your frustration, something similar happened to me with Samphire Coast, but it'll make your readers want The Lucifer Chord (sounds brilliant) even more I'm sure – and just checked: all now seems okay with Amazon. I'm really looking forward to reading it, that said, I want to catch-up on quite a few of your other titles too on my must-read list.
Very best wishes,
Robert

Nancy This is completely unacceptable especially for a publication day issue that should have been highlighted and promoted.
