Audible loves JQ not once, but twice! Not only are two of  JQ’s audio books on sale this week (see below), but the Audible editors just listed their Romance Essentials List: “50 books we believe are must-listens for romance fans,” and The Duke and I made the list! The review calls narrator Rosalyn Landor “the best Regency voice.” JQ couldn’t be more pleased! (Team JQ has listened to 12 JQ titles read by Ms. Landor, and heartily agrees!)

Meanwhile, Just Like Heaven (the first in JQ’s Smythe-Smith Quartet) and Because of Miss Bridgerton (Rokesbys, Book 1) are on each on sale from Audible for $4.95 (over 75% off!) through Sunday FEBRUARY 25. Don’t miss it!

Read on for Audible’s essential review of The Duke and I: “Why We Think It’s Essential: The Duke and I marks the start of an all-time great love affair…between Regency romance fans and the Bridgertons. The eight-book series follows the romantic adventures of an aristocratic (but strangely loveable) British clan as they waltz through the glitz and glamour of London’s renowned marriage mart. It has also introduced many newcomers to the genre, and confirmed Julia Quinn as one of its very best voices. Paired with narrator Rosalyn Landor (who is ACTUALLY the best Regency voice), The Duke and I will charm anyone looking for a sweet yet simmering historical romp. Most recently, Quinn kicked off a new prequel spin-off series, when it became clear that neither she nor her fans were done with the Bridgertons.”

Michelle I've read pretty much all of your books, l love the sense of humor in your writing. I'm excited to listen to them and hear how it comes across. Thank you.

Tina I was on TDY in Mississippi and found the Duke and I at the Base Exchange. I was not a reader of any books really. It was. 1996. I read it and enjoyed it so much haven’t stopped. Have read all of her books and many other authors. Probably over hundreds of books. Thank you for giving me the love of reading.

I'll confess that I don't listen to my own books on audio--it's just too weird! But I've heard snippets, and my readers/listeners love Rosalyn Landor (my narrator). I hope you enjoy them!
