A Spoonful of Murder has been reviewed in the Telegraph!

The Telegraph has given A Spoonful of Murder the most amazing review!

Emily Bearn says ‘Stevens’s success owes much to her ability, like Agatha Christie, to turn even the grimmest murder into a nostalgic comfort read … This is that rare thing: a series that gets better with each book.’

I am so proud – I think this might be my best-ever review!… Read more

Vicky Oh my gosh girl this is absolutely amazing! I'm so so so happy for you! Your writing and characters really are so high caliber and fantastic. I am so excited to read A Spoonful of Murder once it's in shops. You don't have the ability to send our ARCs or copies to readers to review do you? I would be over the moon if I had the opportunity to do that! I have a successful blog where I write reviews for books, movies and tv, a degree in journalism and over 1k followers on my Bookstgram account on Instagram-- I'm @Vickyheartscats we've definitely chatted before! I really just wanted to throw this out there & see if there's any possibility!

Hi Vicky, thank you so much! I'm over the moon - it's wonderful! I'm afraid my UK publishers don't create ARCs for my books, as they're series fiction - I do have ARCs for my US editions of Jolly Foul Play and Guggenheim Mystery which I'll be giving away soon, though! Watch this space, I'll definitely keep you in mind! :)

Vicky EEEE!!! You have ARCS for The Guggenheim Mystery?! I've wanted to read that since I first heard you were writing it! I already devoured Jolly Foul Play (and Mistletoe and Murder, AND Cream Buns and Crime--- thank you Book Depository UK) but I haven't yet gotten my hands on your Guggenheim Mystery. I'm a huge fan of Siobhan Dowd's books (still heartbroken she passed away so prematurely) and even though I haven't read your continuation to it yet you're a fantastic storyteller and I can already tell you did her characters and story justice! Thank you so so so much for getting back to me and keeping me in mind. :)
