Time for Reflection

Read each name carefully and then pause one beat:

George W. Bush...Barack Hussein Obama...Hillary Clinton...Donald Trump...and now...Oprah! ...

My sincere condolences Messieurs Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, Adams, Jay, Madison and Hamilton... I am not making this shit up! I swear!

Owlseyes I laughed yesterday, when I got to know the "news": Oprah as next US president.

I laughed again when I read the right wingers saying: 'Oprah Winfrey is helping Bill and Melinda Gates carry out the eugenics operation ...'.

and stuff you wouldn't dream of*.
I'm still laughing.

Now, I've got to get serious; she may have a chance to beat Trump. For some liberals she's utter salvation.

David Gustafson Whatever! It goes to show you how desperate the intolerantly incorrect totalitarians are when all that they are up against is a bozo like President Quack Quack and all that they can come up with is another boob tube bobblehead like Oprah.

Oprah? Trump? Obama? Bush? Hillary? Billy Willy Dilly? The party is over Mr. and Mrs. America. We had a good run, but the party is over. Get used to it.

David Gustafson This should seal the deal for the intolerantly incorrect totalitarians in the media and make them squeal with orgasmic delight for months and months of headlines. Hopefully, it plucks some quills from President Quack Quack's tail feathers, as well.

Owlseyes "Oprah, another billionaire to the White House!!!"; sounds nice and fair.

(the guy next to her is not a billionaire, I guess)

David Gustafson My own opinion is that America needs a 28th Amendment to the Constitution to accurately reflect the average intelligence of the electorate by making the winning coach of the Super Bowl the President of the United States of America for the ensuing year. We have to get away from these boob tube celebrities and get our feet back on the ground. America needs a good running game.

Oh, BTW-My sincere apologies to Snoop Dogg Barry Obama. Someone pointed out that he has entered history alongside the explorers Lewis and Clark by discovering seven (maybe eight) additional states.

Bonjour Amigos and ambitious realtors everywhere are eagerly awaiting Snoopy Dogg's announcement as to where these new states lie. He is retired now. Why not let us all in on his secret discovery? Maybe his good buddy, Prince Harry, knows?

Owlseyes Haha! A Super Bowl President? won't it require "taking knees"?

57? or 59 states? He said after those 57 he was not allowed in Alaska and Hawaii; so, 59. A bigger USA.

David, we must be very careful now on libelish-looking sentences. Trump is promising "to take a strong look at our country's libel laws,"

Poor Michael Wolff: he's done!! Fire and Fury... over him.

message 7: by David (new)

David Gustafson The Supreme Court ruled long ago that satire is exempt from libel. Unfortunately, America lacks the sophistication to support satire so the docket has remained empty for decades.

Owlseyes Hmm; so you consider Michael Wolff's book* satire or libel?

David Gustafson Mostly fantasy, but President Quack Quack cannot take a joke (about himself).

Owlseyes Right, you tell that to Michael Wolff.

David, I've found this, an example of Oprah's moral standards:

David Gustafson (Gasp!) Oprah a hypocrite? Only a racist would suggest such a thing. At least that is how it will play according to the intolerantly incorrect totalitarians holding sway over the American media. And, as everyone knows, racism trumps hypocrisy as an American mortal sin.
