What I love the most about the holidays are all the pretty lights and decorations. I literally go all around town just to see how many places are decked out for the holidays, and to marvel in the beauty of each individual's creation. I think nothing's better than that, well, except if it were snowing and I was holding a cup of cocoa!

I like the chill in the air. This is the time of year we get to wear layers, light a fire, or sit under a blanket sipping hot chocolate or eggnog. I like to cook and bake during the two or three weeks of cold weather we get. I love the smell of chili simmering, or cookies and cakes baking. I love to light candles and just relax and watch the flames flicker. Yes! I actually do like the cold.
