Sue Have just downloaded it to my kindle - I'm seriously considering leaving the book I'm already reading to read this instead ... Given how dogged I am about finishing a book I've started that just shows how excited I am to get into this one!!
Thanks Terri. Really looking forward to it!
Sue.

message 11: by Sue (new)

Sue Oh my!!
Have just finished reading ... Couldn't put it down ... The tension running through this one is greater I think than all the others (although I did guess 'who' early on, just had to wait for it to be confirmed (guess I read too much!!)) but I loved it!
Not to appear too greedy Terri, but tell me you're going to write at least one more (and that there's a chance we'll get to read it before Xmas?!?!)
I've seriously hand my kindle glued to my hand since I started this today - congrats another fab book!!

message 12: by Nanci (new)

Nanci de Suffren Fantastic! Downloaded it this morning and finished it this afternoon. This was a great way to start my birthday weekend. Everything a woman needs, a handsome fireman,a protective policeman and a great big Scot who looks great in a tight black shirt! Who could ask for more? Thanks Terri for a really fun day!

message 13: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Dear Sue and Nanci - I'm so glad you both liked Darkness Exposed. :)
Sue - yes, I'm planning on having another book out in November.
Nanci - Happy Birthday!!!

Terri

message 14: by Nanci (new)

Nanci de Suffren Well, between now and November I'm going to re-read all the books. This series of books is one of the very few that gets me laughing out loud at one moment, holding on with my fingernails at the next and then ending with a nice smile and a genuine "Ahhhh." I am so glad I discovered your books! Enjoy writing the next one!

message 15: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Thank you Nanci - that was such a lovely thing for you to say. :) Terri

message 16: by Peggy (new)

Peggy YES!!!! Just Downloaded the book to my Kindle!! Can't wait to start it!!!! Can't wait for the afternoon's activities to end so I can start!!!

message 17: by Peggy (new)

Peggy By the way, Terri, was telling my MIL about your books, but she doesn't have a kindle, and much prefers reading the old fashioned way. Are these ever going to go to paperback?

message 18: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Hi Peggy!!! I hope you like the story. :) As far as paperback - I just received a contract from an agency in New York who would like to try to find a publisher for the Mary O'Reilly Series - so, if that happens, we will see them in paperback.

Terri

message 19: by Sue (new)

Sue I'm glad you might be getting the books published on paper - I also have a friend who doesn't have a kindle, it's been a shame not being able o recommend these books to her. Any chance they'll be available in the U.K.?
Can't wait until November now, what with your new book and the latest Chicagoland Vampires story due out that month I'm going to be in book Heaven!!!!

message 20: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Sue - I'm just guessing here - but the agent was talking about publishers like Harper Collins and Simon Schuster - so I would guess they also sell their books in the UK. And, duh - I just thought of it, you could buy them through AMAZON.;)

Also _ I've been asked to be part of an anthology of stories for Halloween. I'll post more about that later - the money goes to a literacy program. :)

message 21: by Sue (new)

Sue As long as they're on amazon uk - I seem to have issues getting stuff from .com!
The anthology sounds good, would it be an extra Mary and Bradley short story or something completely different?

message 22: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid It's an anthology about witches - so something completely different. I'm just finishing up the story now. I agree - the books need to be on Amazon UK.

message 23: by Sue (new)

Sue Sounds interesting -I'll look forward to reading it! I read all sorts of supernatural stuff though vampires are generally my favourite. Witches are always interesting though!!

message 24: by Peggy (new)

Peggy Terri, finished reading Darkness Exposed at around 7pm (not bad, since I only downloaded it at 1 and didn't get to read it until 3)!!!! LOVED it!!!! Yay, Bradley!!!! Yay Stanley!!! And I loved Ian!!! Perfect touch!!

message 25: by Terri (new)

Terri Reid Excellent Sue - I'll let you know more as soon as I know.

Peggy - WOW!! I'm so glad you liked it. :) Yay you!!! :)

Terri

LOL, just couldn't put it down, once I started reading it! I just knew who the bad guy was from the start - didn't trust him at all! Gotta bring Ian's fiance into the story, somehow! What a great team the 6 of them (yeah, Stanley and Rosie, too) would make!

One question, though - the baby they found wasn't Bradley's daughter? So there's a chance she might be alive? Oooh, more complications! :-P Looking forward to book 6, now!!!!
