I love this so hard. That book (and mini-series) is one of my favorites!

That mini-series was excellent, as was the book, but the final scenes in both, though entirely different from each other are excruciating. *in heavy northern accent* "Oh Margret" I love 'em so much.You should read Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte. It's good all the way through, but it's ending is sublime.
The chemistry between these two just sizzles with intensity. Two people who struggle to recognise and verbalise what they feel due to culture, station and character. Love this mini-series even more than the book.
