Abigail I know I shouldn't do that to myself, but I kind of want to read these.

YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD!

Do you like dystopia sci-fi? Or maybe teenage romance (Dune forever)? Well, even if you don't, there's still something to love in Legend!

June Iparis is the Republic's prodigy. She's well cared for by her older brother and is all set to shoot right up the ranks when she graduates. But when her brother, Metias, is killed by the notorious, and faceless, criminal Day, she's given the opportunity to track him down and make him pay for what he's done.

Day is the Republic's most well-known criminal. But he does have a family. And when his younger brother comes down with a mysterious new branch of the plague that's been threatening the poor sectors of the city, he breaks into a hospital in hopes of finding a vaccine. In the process he attacks a soldier, none other than Metias. But he could've sworn that the knife hit the soldier's shoulder, not his heart. It couldn't have been fatal.

June and Day must either fight against each other, or for each other, and find Metias' real killer. Will June stray from everything's she's ever known for a boy who claims the impossible? Or will she do what she's been told and turn him in?

Bum, bum, buuuuuuum.
I hope that this summary convinced you because the series is AMAZING1

I already read the series and loved it; but the ending broke my heart so I'm leery of picking up the graphic novels and destroying myself all over again XD

Oops. Whenever someone mentions Legend, I go into full-blown tangent mode.
