I had an aunt and uncle that lived in Port Orchard when I was a child. I still remember visiting in the summer! I would love to visit again. I have completley fallen in love with Ceder Cove!
I used to live in Silverdale, Washington which is not far from Port Orchard. I bowled in Port Orchard and walked downtown at times. Always wished I would have bumped into Mrs. Macomber - unfortunately never had the opportunity. One of these days I am hoping to get back up there and visit or see her when she is down this way. Port Orchard is a lovely little town where the shops are near the wharves and you can look over the Seattle way or toward the Navy yard in Bremerton. Oh, the memories!
I may never make it to the actual Cedar Cove but I'd like to thank you for bringing it all to life in your books. I've loved looking forward to reading each one and learning more about each character. It has felt like I could step into the pages and walk the town with them.
My daughter and I are visiting Seattle this fall. And on my "to see" list is Cedar Cove! Is the Cedar Cove Inn for real?
