Hour of the Lion released!

Hour of the Lion, my paranormal erotic romance is now out at Amazon, B&N, and AllRomanceEbooks! *happy dance!*

Aren't the kitties on the cover gorgeous? Yes, they're were-cats. :-)

Hour of the Lion

As a dedicated covert ops agent, Victoria Morgan follows two rules: accomplish the mission and protect the innocent. When bitten by a werecat—yeah, that was a sucky day—she must investigate beings that shouldn't exist and are hard as hell to identify. Just how can she tell if a person is human--or an animal-shifter who enjoys Bambi-sized snacks?

During her investigation, she finds a real home and friends for the first time. Sweet, right? But there's a flip-side: the bad guys are waiting for her to turn into something four-legged with a tail, the shifters suspect her of spying, and she has fallen in love with a pair of Thumper-eating werecougar brothers.

Her duty is to expose their existence. Or she could follow her heart and protect them with all of her deadly skills.

You did it! Shapeshifters AND ménage in the same story! Oh, I'm screwed! I'm supposed to study for my upcoming exams, but there's no way I'll wait to read this new piece of yours! Thank you, girl!

Just with the blurbs already out there, I know I'm gonna enjoy this tremendously. I'll let you know!

Hugs from Paris

Cherise Sinclair Eeek! Study first, then treat yourself for being a good girl. ;-)

Liagiba84 Loved the book! I'm beginning to think there isn't a genre you can't write. I inevitably finish your newest book and can't quite let go of the lovely high I've got from getting lost in the story. I finished this one, then I went and re-read The Starlight Rite and now I'm in the middle of Make Me, Sir. Thank goodness for how fast you're writing new books!

And can I just say, having re-read The Starlight Rite, that I'm hoping very hard that Blackwell gets his own story? That culture you created is even more interesting and fleshed out the second time I'm reading it! Oh, and while I'm getting in my Christmas list... Can Master Sam from Shadowlands have his own book? He scares me- but in a good way ;)

That is a great idea about Master Sam, although I'd like to see Sally get a book first (which apparently is on the cards), I know what you mean about him being scary in a good way although single tail whips have always terrified me, still, there is a sort of "fingers burnt" fascination about them.

Funnily enough, I really didn't like the Starlight Rite, the only one of Cherise's I haven't so far (and I've got them all except Doms of Dark Haven 2 and this latest one), I didn't like Dain, he may have been dominant but he wasn't a Master plus I hated it when he zapped Mella after she saved him from a thug trying to attack him, the whole unshaline thing sat very badly with me. Maybe its because I prefer fantasy to sci-fi ;o)

Cherise Sinclair @Liabiba--Thank you so much! I loved adding a little domination to a fantasy, and it's so, so nice that you liked it!

Blackwell is still waiting to see if enough people like the SF. It seems like when the number of requests hit a certain intensity, then I cave in. (being submissives isn't for wussies. )

Now, for Sam, I'm trying to give him a sideplot in Raoul's story, but he's not cooperating very well. (Why am I not surprised? *rolling eyes*) Hopefully he'll get more time.

Hugs and thanks!
Cheri

Cherise Sinclair Saetana, Sally's definitely on the 'needs a story' list. :-)

I'm sorry you didn't like Starlight Rite--I knew I was pushing some boundaries with the storyline. Thank you for trying it though. :-)

Hugs,
Cheri

Holly **claps hands like a deranged walrus**

More Master Sam! More Master Sam! Sadists need love too! lol

message 8: by Steph (new)

Steph I'm so excited to read this one, Cherise! I absolutely love your Shadowland series. I'm thrilled to have my very own copy of this beaut ... sexy werecougars, can't wait to read it!

message 9: by Nikki (new)

Nikki I'm hanging on for the next Shadowlands novel, I only really read vampire fiction in the paranormal/modern fantasy category (I recommend JR Ward for vampire porn, LOL), whether erotica or otherwise. I'll definitely buy Doms of Dark Haven 2 though when it comes to Amazon next month, congratulations on the new novel Cherise ;o)

message 10: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair LOL, Holly! I'm sending Master Sam over to tame some of those outbursts of yours.

Thank you, Steph! I hope you like it.

Saetana, I love JR Ward too--although I hated seeing a Dom switch. Grrr. And I'm perfectly happy feeding your need for Doms. ;-)

Cherise,
I have to say that I was really excited to see that you were on here. You are one of my favorite authors. I have bought all of your books and I love them. I have not gotten to read this one yet but it is in my TBR pile and I cant wait.

Nikki Hi Cherise

I was browsing Amazon today and spotted the Hour of the Lion ebook at a bargain price, downloaded the sample chapters and ended up buying it. The story was great, not as erotica (for me at least) but it was a wonderful thriller/paranormal story and I really enjoyed it. Maybe I've been a little conservative sticking to vampire fiction in the modern fantasy/paranormal category. I can't believe Vickie was so reluctant about shifting though, I mean, who wouldn't want to be able to change into a mountain lion if they could, LOL! I did keep looking at "trawsfur" and seeing a bad spelling of transfer though, my bad ;o)

message 13: by Sara (new)

Sara I just finished Hour of the Lion and adored it. Didn't want the story to end. I love nearly everything you have written, but hesitated to try this one, as I'm not a big fan of cats, but it was fantastic. Your characters are so real and appealing, I just want to climb on in your stories. And I loved this book, even without the sex, then to add in Dominance and menage, it was like dinner and dessert.

Please tell me you've got another book coming out some time soon, I'm addicted.

message 14: by Nikki (new)

Nikki Me too, I've got all of Cherise's novels now except for Doms of Dark Haven 2 and I'll be getting that sometime this month (I live in the UK so can't buy US ebooks until they hit Amazon). Really looking forward to the next Shadowlands book, those are my favourites, that series could go on indefinitely I think (hint hint) ;o)

message 15: by Robinm48 (new)

Robinm48 I normally don't care for shapeshifter books, so I was a bit hesitant to download this book. However, you're my favorite author so I went ahead and downloaded it. Then I promptly sat and read it from start to finish without moving! It was great! What I liked so much was that the shapeshifting was treated as just a characteristic of the people in the story, not what the story was about, unlike so many of the SS books. Loved the book and would really like to see more in this genre from you. Then again, I absolutely adore the Shadowlands books. Definitely hoping Sally winds up with her own book; she deserves her own Dom! Thank you!!

message 16: by Texy (new)

Texy Just finished it and have to say that I`m pleasantly surprised. If you`re planning to write something like this again, I`m all for it.

message 17: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair Thanks, Booklover! And Saetana, I"m so glad you liked it! (welcome to the non-vampire world LOL)

Ooo, dinner and dessert--that's a lovely compliment, Sara!

Thanks, Robin and Texy! I may have to give Zeb someone special someday.

And it (tentatively)looks as if Master Raoul's story in the Shadowlands series should be out at the very end of November. Then I'll be discussing Doms with Sally. :-)

message 18: by Nikki (new)

Nikki I can't wait for the next Shadowlands novel to come out, its the best BDSM series ever! Trouble is, I've got impatient now and bought the last one as an ebook as I didn't want to wait ages for the paperback and will probably do the same for the Raoul book which means I'll most likely end up buying the books as well, LOL!

message 19: by Cherise (new)

Cherise Sinclair I'm glad you're enjoying the Shadowlands! And I'm sorry about how long it takes the publisher to do print releases. :-(
