Thank you so much for this, and as for thinking you are boring us............ never!

Rene, what a wonderful comment. Thank you! I hope to never stop writing as well, as long as you all want to read the stories (beaming). Thanks for posting!

Carol, I appreciate that. Not sure that was my original intent, but I'm so pleased it worked out that way. When I re-read these books I can see my own personal journey to understanding so much more about the D/s world. And there is STILL so much to learn and discover. Pretty much like the nature of love and relationships of any kind, lol.

Stephanie, over the years, that is one thing I NEVER tire of hearing: "what I wouldn't normally pick", because it mirrored my own experience in writing these stories. Situations I thought I'd never enjoy writing, I found out I love! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and reading the blog.

Irene, you and Rene are on the same page. My hope and prayer to the writing gods is always "let me want to keep writing good books as long as the readers want to read them". Which at first glance is a chicken/egg thing, but it really addresses how often we lose our passion for our work as the years go by. So far I haven't, and I blame my wonderful readers for a great deal of that! (grin)

I'm so glad to hear that, Kath. Early in my career, I tried the public speaking thing. You know, visiting book and civic groups to talk up my work. The things I thought they'd find fascinating often left them entirely bored and unimpressed, so it always pleases me tremendously to hear my blog posts aren't total yawners. Lol - of course, at that time I was writing mainstream fantasy romance. If I'd been writing BDSM then, I expect I'd have kept a few more people awake!

Excellent! That's what I love to hear. And so glad you enjoyed the post. Hope you like Julie and Des. I'm about to go nuts with the anticipation, lol. Fingernail biting has commenced...

It just makes reading your novels even more enjoyable.
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you invest in your readers.
I'm sure I speak for many of your fans when I say how much we appreciate it.

Sandra, thank you! I hope you know so much of that effort comes from my gratitude for all that my readers do for me. You brighten my life every day! :)

Patti, thank you tremendously for saying so. Hearing that gives me the same thrill now as it did when I first started writing. I'm always amazed that people want to read my books (beaming). Thanks so much for posting.

Firstpella, that reaction is exactly why Ice Queen and Mirror of My Soul remain my touchstone for how I want to write, and what kind of stories I want to write. There was something very special about that story, the way it flowed, and the emotional level it reached. While I know each story and set of characters are different, I always want there to be a certain level of depth to my stories that doesn't stray too far from what I discovered with Marguerite and Tyler, even if the other stories aren't quite as intense, or as intense in the same way (wink). Thanks so much for your comment! Oh, and have you read their free novella, Tyler Tied Up? It's available for download under the Vignette section of the fan forum. Here's the link for access info if you haven't - storywitch.com/community.

I am still in awe of Joey and her words, even after all this time, and I cannot express how happy I am when a new book appears because I KNOW it will be magnificent!!!
Thank you, Joey!!

Hearing that just humbles me. Thank you so much, Carole-Ann!

On my way to subscribe and download, yippee!!

Let me know if you have any problems! :> Enjoy!

Nature of Desire is my favorite of your series and one I return to over and over. Your characters feel like friends and I always anticipate new stories cause I'm hoping to catch up with everyone's lives. I'm always crossing my fingers that your series will continue forever! Miss you

Kelly, what an incredibly wonderful note to post. Thank you! I always say there is no better marketing an author could hope to have than a reader who enjoys their work to spontaneously talk about it with others, including random strangers! It's the most flattering and lovely thing to hear also, so I appreciate you sharing that, as well as your own personal reaction to the books. I love a good romance that can make me feel all those ways. Women love to cry for the right reasons, don't we? Lol...
I have plenty books in this and my other series left to write, so they won't run out any time soon, I promise. Let me know if ever one doesn't meet expectations!
Hope to see you again soon!
