The Hidden Oracle!
Thanks to everyone who came to our launch event in Boston on Tuesday, May 3! We had a sold-out crowd and I loved hearing your questions and sharing your enthusiasm. And thanks to everyone on social media who has already responded to the new series with such love and appreciation. I’ve got the best readers in the world! It’s always a relief to me when I hear that I met your expectations in a new volume.
If you haven’t picked up your copy of The Hidden Oracle yet, it is now available anywhere books are sold in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. I’m not sure about the other markets. I don’t get that info. But if it’s not yet available where you live, I’m sure the publishers are working hard to get it into your hands as soon as possible!
And if you missed the usual “Coming in 2017” at the end of The Hidden Oracle, I did too! Here is the title of book two, which will be here next October:

Well you speak better English than some native English speakers do. That is something funny with English native speakers don't speak it properly but people learning it as a second language do.
Oh and do you pronounce H "aitch" or "haitch" I am trying to prove to my class it is aitch and that they are wrong to say haitch but they a) don't believe me and b) don't really care. See it is technically right to say aitch but everyone says haitch because they think the sound the letter makes should be at the start which is not how it is.Ok rant over.

Tests always tell me I am a daughter of Athena or Apollo and really I would prefer Athena but I'm more like Apollo. Well, I mean his talents of course, not his arrogance.But then Artemis is my second favourite goddess (after Hestia since kitten-Hestia) so I would be a hunter of Artemis.
The Athena Apollo thing is like how at school they always try to put me in either academic or creative and I'm good at both. It says in my report that I am at year 8 level at math. But I'm also good at singing, drawing and play the saxophone, keyboard and harmonica (kind of- I know a few songs on the harmonica).It's really unfair that they try to split up academic and creative.

I'm definitely an Amazon. I like boys too much to completely leave them. However, there are some boys that I just long to kick, like how Kinzie did to Percy and Frank. I had a daydream about it. In that dream, I recruited all the girls in my school to be Amazons and we conquered all the boys... it was a very weird daydream, :)

Trust me, it was very strange. But then again, I guess it makes sense as the Amazons are always talking about when they will dominate the world. Guess they have to dominate one tiny prep school first ;)

I will be daughter of Athena. But I also love to sing. Many say that I am smart but I have never been sure. And I agree with you Evelin. Sometimes I hate the boys in my class because they are so annoying. And some of them are kind and nice to me.
Yeah that happens sometimes, also, one of my best friends is boy and he is the only one who read Percy Jackson so, maybe sometimes I am Hunter of Artemis and sometimes Amazon

I always just said Apollo because I like music and history. Does history go with Apollo? Whatever. Anyways, I am not arrogant like Apollo, and I like night time sometimes better than daytime.....but I like sunrise better than sunset. I love reading so maybe Athena, but I like more things than just smarts and reading.

Prep school is short for college preparatory. It prepares you for what comes after high school (9-12). They tend to be very fancy and students have to wear uniforms. :) Most around here tend to be founded in Christian values.

Well once in class our teacher brought up a quiz for which Greek god are you and I got Athena but I was sooo close to getting Apollo. I wasn't sure about one question and if I'd put the answer o nearly put I would of gotten Apollo. Anyway I always get one or the other.Except when it is which of the 7 are you I ALWAYS get Annabeth. Every. Single. Time. That's why I made a quiz on all the tests with the new character in the seven (all except Percy and Annabeth).

I always my best friend as the daughter of Apollo. Her hobby is actually playing instuments. I would prefer to team up with her if I sing alone.
