Woes and Joys
Oooooooh your Golden God is not feeling well.
Your Golden God is SICK, Minions. I'm not used to being sick. I NEVER get sick. And yet, here I am, sick and feeling miserable...
So why am I posting, you ask? Am I looking for sympathy? Pffft. I need NOT your sympathy. Sympathy is for the WEAK. I post, not to share my woes, but to share my joys.
Book 6 is finished.
I have emailed it to my editor and agent, and it is currently printing out for Laura, and I now have a few days to recover from my illness before I read back over it and spot where it can be improved. At the moment, it's a long one, about 10,000 words longer than Mortal Coil. Whether it'll keep that word count after the rewrite, I don't know.
But it's done.

Um, can Gods even GET sick?! It's probably just some Godly fever that we underly mortals cannot comprehend to his greatness...Can't wait for book six!!! Sooo excited! I already have my Skulduggery Pleasant halloween costumed planned out!
(Halloween is the best day of the year, so of COURSE I have to prepare in advance!) ^_^
So I'm not the only one who has their Halloween costume planned out already? I was Val last year. Anyway, get better Derek. Can't wait for book 6!

I was Count Dracula in 2008, Blade in 2009, a 9the guy in the blade movie) vampire in 2011, the one called Frost in the movie blade.

Omg, im gonna wear a skull mask and sunglasses (and the famous hat) so no one is gonna know its me at school! XD
Colliegirl: thats awesome! I'm gonna be Tanith this year, or China if I can find the right clothes. Last year one of my friends was the Necromancer from book 3, the one with the gun. Course, there are only three people in our town that read Skulduggery, :( so no one knew who we were!
Derek, I'll send you nice healing vibes if you bring Tanith back.
It's all fun and games until the golden god gets sick... (*chuckles* not!) But as soon as you said the book was finished...COMPLETE AND UTTER SHOCK.
Me and my friends have been waiting for this moment so long... *sniffs*
Wait a minute... Once it's published, I'll have to wait ages 'till it comes out in Australia, right? ... *combusts* NOOOOOOOOOO saaaave meeeeee...

How long until it comes out in the US? and I'm STILL having trouble finding mortal coil-we had to order it from England.
I just got it from amazon... it came pretty fast from some guy in Oregon :)
