What century do you belong in?

I hope all of my readers who celebrate Easter had as good a day as I did.
Here is a fun quiz from one of my favorite websites, Medievalists.net. What century do you belong in? Not surprisingly, I suppose, I would be most at home in the eleventh century. I have my doubts, though, because of four words—indoor plumbing, central heat.

Terelyn Marks Indoor plumbing, air conditioning, antibiotics, refrigeration, central heat....

I got 16th century.

Christine I thought I would get 19th but I got 18th which I suppose is close enough, and I do love the clothes. As long as they don't expect me to be a revolutionary, I think I'd do fine.

Amy I got 19th. Not surprising. I like to read about the Middle Ages but I'm sure it would not be pleasant living then!

Marina Bonomi 11th Century, it didn't came as a surprise.

Judith I belong in the 20th century. Not an ancient woman and apparently not completely modern either, maybe that is why I like to read about other eras.

Tedders hoorah for the 11th century. strangely I think one of the most trying things to have to give up would be historical fiction... I guess then it would just be contemporary fiction?

Jennifer N 18th Century - that era does fascinate me although I am not sure that I would like to live there.

message 8: by Sharon (new)

Sharon At least I'd have lots of company in the 11th century. Here it is split, but on my Facebook pages, the 11th is the most common time-travel destination. I wouldn't mind the 16th as long as I did not have to live under the Tudors.

Iset 11th century for me.

message 10: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca I got the 11th century which surprised me as I chose Queen Victoria and the Industrial Revolution......

As for Easter, it was a terrible one for me. My dog Sheba got hit by a car on the Wednesday before Easter, she broke 3 bones in her pelvic area and had her operation on Good Friday...I spent most of the time bawling my eyes out and praying she'd be alight. The good news, the operation was successful, she is now home and being looked after & getting lots of TLC and cuddles and help in walking when she has to go outside....It will take about 3-4 months before she'll walk on her own without need of help, but thankfully she's alive!!
