I hope it is soon I have read that a lot of people were getting tired of waiting. I know her books take a lot of work because of the content. I am still hanging in there. I have enjoyed the first one so much. I am anxiously waiting for the second one. You cannot turn creatively off and on and then the technical aspect. I hope it gets on the bestseller list.
It's worth keeping in mind that ECB is a fulltime editor at a glossy national magazine, so she doesn't have the writing time of fulltime or even part-time authors, she basically has to work on the book when time allows.
I am keeping it in mind. I know ECB is a talented writer. I love her writing style and her story. I just wanted more. I guess I am greedy. But patience is a virtue and I must use mine.
It's been over a year now since the last update. I am really starting to lose hope, which sucks because this is my favorite book.
Sigh - I had a dream about Nora last night and checked in to see if there was an update (I optimistically started on Amazon to see if I could pre order). But knowing its in the publisher's hands is AWESOME so that is progress!!! I salivate at the prospect of getting my hands on the book - may the publishing gods be kind and swift.

I love this book and I think it's one of my favorite stories. The fact that a sequel is coming make me so happy! Because I can't wait to read how this story will continue... and more about Aruendiel.
For those of you going crazy waiting for book 2 as I am, read Uprooted by Naomi Novik. It is just as good!

I'm trying to time re-reading TWG so that I can go straight from it to the next book. Suggestions for the meantime are welcome!!
I just finished Thinking Women's Guide to Real Magic and loved it! I love to read so much. I haven't been able to read or write hardly anything for over a year now because of something wrong with my eyes. I really appreciate the ice demon eating poety and Nora finding herself suddenly illiterate.
The audio book was a great performance and I look forward to the next.
Happy writing.

I can see how that might work. The Ice Demon obviously knows a lot and has been around along time.
I do hope the TWG 2 Comes out soon!
Thank you for writing your book! I was worried for a minute there when it ended but I'm really glad to hear you are writing a sequel and I will be overjoyed when it comes out. Well done!

Thank you, Trever! I have read this book three times anxiously awaiting the sequel. I hope we get a date soon!
