Challenge update

Unfortunately, I did not quite meet my goals one week however, I had very good reasons. We have overhauled the website (as you may have noticed) and I worked on a few other professional projects.
On a personal level, I have fallen in love with Emma (2020) the most recent adaptation of Jane Austen's novel. I highly recommend everyone check it out. It's witty, funny and true to the original novel.

Week 2 Challenge Update

I'm on a roll and I really hope it won't stop. The power a realistic goal has is surprising. It might not work for everyone but it seems to have been just what I needed. A bit of structure and a lot of freedom.
Good luck to everyone with their own goals!

Writing Challenge Update

All it took was aggravating my carpal tunnel but I did it! In fact I surpassed my goals. It's incredibly gratifying to accomplish what I set out to do. At the same time I'm fully aware that part of my ability to reach my goal is because I had realistic expectations. I know that I could have been trying to hit 20,000 but I know I would burn out really quick if I tried to do that long term. Short term for a week long sprint sure I could push...

Updates and Drabbles

***
The day is not over and I started my week out strong. I currently have 4,000 words under my belt. I have hopes I will hit my goal of 10,00 by the weekend. This week I am doing a lot of business planning and making plans for the future. It brought up a lot of points and improvements I want to make in my writing career.
There are some things like taking classes to improve my Photoshop skills that I just have to commit to. These things...

Writing Challenge: Week 1
My resolution for 2020 is to make more time for my writing.
A lot has changed in my life in the last two years but as I am readjusting to my new normal I want to make sure I also prioritize writing. This year I want to challenge myself to write a minimum of 10,000 words a week.
That amounts to 520,000 words a year. I know to some people that might sound scary (while to others it might sound like peanuts). I settled on this as a perfectly achievable goal becausewhen this huge number only...

Daily Musings: Sorry! Confessions of a Serial Apologizer

- Quoted from my every day life
Confession: This blog posted started because I wanted to write a blog post apologizing for not updating the blog often enough.
I am not the first person to say sorry too often and I won't be the last. Perhaps, it is my desire to make sure people are happy that I turn to apologizing so frequently. I mainly do this when I feel I have disappointed them in some way or perhaps hurt them.
Apologizing is...
