I don’t have a table this year. However, you can purchase my books from me at my two signings and my reading. You can also find me walking around, and I will have copies.

Check out my first series of storytelling videos! This series is called “The Survivor,” and I’ve adapted it from my steampunk short story of the same name. (Here’s the link to the book information.) In this tale, an assassin named Angelica Blackmore is assigned to a dangerous mission that will change the course of the world’s history.
In Part 4: Regret, Angelica has survived an airship crash, and successfully completed her mission to deliver Professor Fredrick Guthrie’s briefcase to a young German student named Fritz Haber. Her mission appears to complete, except for an inspector who refuses to go away. Be sure to stay for the outtakes!

I just started a YouTube Channel. I wanted another outlet (and medium) to tell stories, and to enlarge some of the worlds I have in place or am working on. Here’s the link: YouTube.com/TheMBWeston. I have three story-telling series I plan on putting to video.
A Steampunk series linked to my character, Angelica Blackmoor, in my short story, “The Survivor.” (Basically, think “Avengers Meets Victorian England.”)
A new series with the working title The Witch Hunter (which is currently taken by a popular manga), which I will be debuting at DragonCon (here’s my appearance schedule). (You must to come to my reading at 11:30 on Sunday in the Hyatt’s Marietta room. I won’t be reading anything. It’s all memorized. And dramatized. And… Just come.)

Why I Took The Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS & Why It’s a Good Thing
My sister, Julie, nominated me to the ice bucket challenge, so I did it. Here’s the video. I tried to include a little bit about ALS and the ALS Association in this instead of just getting myself doused.
On another note, I realize that a lot of people are annoyed with the ice bucket challenge, and are accusing it of basically being symbolism over substance. Unfortunately, the numbers indicate those who are challenging the challenge are wrong. The New York Times reports that from the time the ice bucket challenge started, the ALS Association has raised over $13.3 million in donations. Last year during the same time, they only raised $1.7 million. (Read the article here.)
Forbes also gives some excellent reasons why the ice bucket challenge is a good thing in an article by Matthew Herper entitled, “Think The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Is Stupid? You’re Wrong,” including that the challenge is raising enough money to matter and that it is actually getting people thinking about giving to charities. (Read the article here.)
