Books in the Park--September 27, 2009--Noon to 6:00PM--Town Point Park in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Will be, rain or shine.
Outdoors if no rain.
Cloudy/Chance of spotty light rain
The Books in the Park festival area will be covered with large tents. There will be tents everywhere, including umbrella areas for our guest, so we'll plan to stay outdoors. The Acoustic Music festival is rain or shine...so I'm guessing that if we do get a light passing rain, music festival guest will be heading our way. We keep to the original plan!
Rain/Persistent Showers/Thunder and Lightning
Books in the Park will move inside of Waterside Festival Market Place. The building is located at the edge of Town Point Park next to the Sheraton Hotel. You'll see Festevents Staff wearing light blue coats outside of the building to help unload your car. We'll use the same table numbers but they will run sequential inside the building in straight rows. Again, if the day is just to wet to sell books outside we'll move indoors. If this is the case, I'm guessing that people attending the music festival will be coming inside if the rain becomes too heavy.
