Life Through Literature Festival in Petersburg, Va. Saturday, May 22nd
I'm doing this this upcoming Saturday:
The sixth annual Life Through Literature festival will be held in Poplar Lawn Park in Petersburg, VA on May 22 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm. The purpose of the festival is to promote reading and interest in the literacy arts as well as to provide fun activities and entertainment for all ages. Activities include book giveaways, music, an author’s pavilion, kid’s entertainment and much more! The first 200 attendees can register to win a flat screen TV. Literary events include presentations by a very impressive cast of local authors and book signings by fabulous regional authors in a wide variety of genres from ranging from nonfiction, young adult fiction, mystery, and inspirational book titles. Check out the following lists of authors and musicians who will be on hand during the day.

12:45 – Lawrence Bolar, author of inspirational, Nothing Substitutes Time and Summers With Lauren
1:00 – Jennifer (J.B.) Stanley, author of the Supper Club Mysteries, including Stirring Up Strife
2:00 – William Ashanti Hobbs, author of urban romance novel, Worthy
2:15 – Nan Bodine (Nancy Clarke), author of Stormy Hill
3:00 – Kathleen Reid, author of the scrapbooking novel, A Page Out of Life
3:15 – Herbert V. Coulton, author of biography In the Shadows of Giants
4:20 – Rev. Antonio Arnold, author of nonfiction, Hurricane Katrina and I, Breaking Away the Chains of Bondage, and We are Living in the Finished Work of Christ
4:35 – Rod J. Mustanski, author of Adam's Way thriller novels, and nonfiction, Enough is Enough
