NEWS: Goodreads & DailyBook Profiles

I have now updated my profile on Goodreads, the book review website, so if you're on that, head over and have a look! The profile now automatically updates with blog posts from my website, and you'll notice a new Goodreads section on this website, just below Twitter.

Of course, any 5-star reviews for either Destroyer or Titanic would be most welcome!

NEWS: Release on Google Play, Kobo & Nook Stores

I am pleased to announce that both 'Titanic' and 'Rise of the Destroyer' are now available in e-book format on the Google Play, Kobo and Nook online stores. This means that both of them are natively available on just about every mainstream e-reader, as well as through Google Play, which is supported by pretty much every Android device.

Kindle, Kobo and Nook apps are also available for both Android and iOS, so you have a range of options for reading on your Apple devices as well!

NEWS: Rise of the Destroyer 2nd Edition & Audiobooks

Rise of the Destroyer has now sold over 50 copies, and I am therefore pleased to announce the release of the Second Edition paperback! The Second Edition is cheaper and more lightweight than the first, but has no editorial changes whatsoever. The price of the Kindle e-book has also been reduced to a mere £2.99 - click on the picture to buy from Amazon!

I am also delighted to announce the upcoming release of Titanic and Rise of the Destroyer in audiobook! They will be narrated by Dave Gillies and should be released later this year. Stay tuned for further details.

Finally, I have been informed by my illustrator, Sarah Measures, that she should be able to get some pictures done very shortly, so hopefully another short story in the form of Trevane and Nativa will be published in the next few months!

TITANIC

Hello everyone! Welcome to the new website!

So, I've finally taken the plunge and self-published my first short story - TITANIC, which is now available on Amazon Kindle, or the Kobo Store. The response has been pretty good so far - all 5-star reviews, and it's sold over 30 copies!

TITANIC is available exclusively via e-book, but you can get it if you have an iPad or Android tablet - just download the free Amazon Kindle app from either the App Store or Google Play, buy the e-book on Amazon and you're away.

TITANIC also features several full-colour illustrations by Sarah Measures. They're brilliant, and worth buying the book for all by themselves. Of course, the story's pretty fab, too... :-)

Blog!

I thought I'd start a blog on my writing, hopefully with the aim of motivating me to do some more of it, so here it is! Admittedly, it's a little sparse, but things will be added over time, have no fear.

I guess I'll introduce myself a bit. I'm James Dennis, a part-time novelist living in Nottingham. I've written a couple of short stories, which I am planning on self-publishing - you'll hear more about them soon! I've also written my first novel, which I'm currently trying to get published, and am working on the sequel.

I'm currently waiting on my illustrator to get some front covers done for my short stories, and then you'll hear a lot more. Stay tuned! :-)
