I HAVE THE POWER

So forgetting the power cord to the computer that has your work on it is a real good way to hamper the production for a writer. But now the cord is back in the wall and the power is flowing. 

Writing Season Approaches

With the beginning of September an author's attention turns to NaNoWriMo. My goals this year are 
1) Have all my side projects wrapped up by then
2)To be smart and not accept any side projects during November
3) To finish the prequel to "Dying Embers"

The last day of August nears its end and the air has a bit of bite to it as it sweeps over the mountains.

A good protagonist needs a purpose, a drive. There are of course exceptions to this, but it takes a brilliant author indeed to write a compelling story around a character without a direction and a purpose. Many stories center around a protagonist finding that purpose but by the end it has been obtained.
