Inappropriate inspiration times!

So I've finished my Ragdolls & Riches series now and am eager to get to work on my next book. As I was still writing R&R I was getting ideas so I'd just jot down the basics to return to when I was ready. Last night I sat there and looked over my notes and knew that even though I had some basic ideas forming, I didn't have enough so begin piecing anything together. I worried for a minute that no further ideas would come to me but didn't want to force anything so I decided to treat myself to an early night, considering they were alien to me since I'd started writing.
My brain had other ideas though. Each time I'd drift off to sleep an idea would pop into my head and I had to sit up and jot the into my notes on my phone :/ needless to say, my early night went out the window but I've got enough ideas now to start my next book. :)

Book 2

Well, I finished my second book, Ragdolls & Riches 2 last night. It's live on Amazon right now. Feeling quite accomplished at the moment but a little bit sad that the books are finished. I've come to realise that when you read a really good book and you grow to love the characters, I find myself missing them when the book is finished. It's eaxactly the same when I'm writing..:(
I've already got some ideas of what I'm going to write next so I'll be starting on my next project shortly. :)

Writer's luck?

So I sat at my laptop this morning, eager to carry on with Ragdolls & Riches part 2 and my laptop decided to die. Not 'give it a minute it'll come back to me" dead....like 100% your never going to see me again dead. Luckily, completely off the cuff I'd decided to print off what id written (half a book) literally ten minutes before my laptop snuffed it so now I have to write it all out again on my daughters laptop grrrrr. However, I won't complain too much because if I hadn't have printed it out I would've lost the bloody lot and had to start from scratch.....I call this...writers luck :)

2nd book

So I've been busy writing the second part of Ragdolls & Riches. Only problem is, I'm getting absolutely nothing done around the house! As soon as I begin writing it's like I've entered my own little world. By the time I stop for the evening I look around my house and you'd think there was a full on party going on in here.
I'd say I was up to the halfway point in the book now so fingers crossed it should be ready to publish soon :)

New book nerves

Ok so my very first book has gone live on the Amazon market and I've got to admit I'm a tad nervous as to what people will think of it. But having said that, writing a book has been something I've wanted to do for a long time so the fact that ive done it and it's out there is an achievement in itself.
