Blogging Ain't for Sissies #blogging #writing #atozchallenge

Blogging is one of those subjects you hear a lot of chatter about in the writing community. You should do it, you shouldn't. You have to post every day, once a week is fine… there are as many schools of thought as there are blogs, I think. In my experience, I find that most authors [...]

Alphabet Soup: The A to Z Blogging Challenge #Blogging #Writing #atozchallenge

So, it turns out I may just be crazy after all. At the prodding (okay maybe that part is just in my head) of fellow author, Kelly Said, I decided to attempt to participate and complete the April A to Z Blogging Challenge. The basic premise here is to write a blog post every day [...]

I've Been Tagged: Lucky Seven #blogging #writers

So today I arrived home to learn I have been tagged by a fellow author. There have been a few of these tagging blog posts going about. This one looked like fun, so what the heck — I'm game for a little fun. The rules for this one are quite simple (hooray!) Go to page [...]

Six Sentence Sunday: That Blissful Moment Before The First Kiss #sixsunday #writing

Welcome back and thanks for chosing to stop by for your Six Sentence Sunday fix. I always love having visitors. Since I received my copyright in the mail from the Library of Congress, I decided to include six sentences from my soon to be released debut novel, CALL OF THE SEA. Rather than set the [...]

I Gots Me a Real Library of Congress Copyright #Squee #writing

When my book was accepted for publication by Inkspell Publishing, they suggested I have my work officially copyrighted with the government. I hadn't realized this was even necessary until this publishing foray, but apparently it protects me with a bit more oopmh than a standard copyright notice in the book when it comes out. Anyway, [...]

Six Sentence Sunday: What's Up With That? O.o #sixsunday

Hello again, my friends and welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday. Glad to have you back after a short hiatus. I have been hooting and hollering all over the internet about my debut novel, so I thought a change of pace would be nice. This week's six comes from my current WIP, a fantasy romance I've [...]

The Clan Takes Boston (Part Deux)… Still just kinda :P #beantown #travel

I promised you all last week when I started to give you a peek at my family trip to Boston in late February that I would return to post the rest of the excellent family adventure. Welp, here I am. (You were waiting with baited breath, weren't you?) Best bet is to start where I [...]

The A to Z of Me (Rebecca Hart): What Makes Me Tick? #writing #author

So, I saw this little list of A to Z's on fellow Inkspell author, Stephanie Lawton's blog today and it looked like fun, so I stole it (thanks, Steph!) from her (and she apparently hijacked it from another Inkspell author, Brooke Moss). Maybe this will give you all a little insight into my personal sanity issues [...]

Random: Getting to know me from A to Z

Reblogged from Stephanie Lawton: After following some fellow writer friends' blogs, I've come to realize I must come across as kinda serious on here, which is hilarious since I'm one of the goofiest people I know. I have the mouth of a sailor and the sense of humor of a sixteen-year-old boy, but I guess [...]
