Why Edward Snowdon is no hero

It is amazing to me that there are people out there that think Edward Snowdon is a hero. How is betraying your country heroic? So he says the American public has a right to know that they are being watched by the NSA, well I say WHO CARES? If you're not doing anything illegal or questionable then why would you care if the NSA is wiretapping terrorists and/or criminals. In what capacity is Snowdon even remotely qualifed to determine what is in the countries best interest? Is it his education? Um no there because he barely passsed high school.

Oh sure, he claims to have worked toward a Master's from some online university but I question
that give that he has never finished anything he started. How can you work toward a Master's when you've never even completed a bachlor's???

He couldn't even finish the Army reserves. There's always a reson why he can't finish something. Now how is it he was hired by the NSA is a complete mystery. I suspect he lied and forged his credentials and they didn't check, which is why they deserved this. But as far as this loser being anything but a traitor, please.

So then is guy creeps off to Russia, of all places. Oh yeah, they are totally into personal freedoms and freedom of expression. Obviously this guy did a dismal, idiotic job of planning his escape. Where is the evidence, in all that this moron has done, that this guy is anything but an attention seeking traitor?

Better tread lightly in Russia, my friend. They are going to get tired of your stupid butt soon and when they do, you could end up serving time for something silly like j-walking. And when they do arrest you, you might just be spending time in beautiful, downtown Syberia. Oh please....News link

Almost Christmas!!

Although I'm not much for holidays, Christmas is still fun. I bought all kinds of stuff for my kiddies and they are having a blast. I'm finally on winter break from Seminole State College where I'm studying IT. Yes, my life wasn't crazy busy enough I had to go out and get another degree. Hey, life is short so why not?
For those of you wondering when I'm going to get off my duff and write some new stuff, fear not! I am just finished up the final read through of Siren Warrior 10. More love, wild adventures and intregue. I also want to start a new fantasy series for Whiskey Creek which I plan to start plotting on my time off.
I love writing, its a fun and creative outlet and what's a story without a little kinky sex, right?

On a completely seperate note, my deepest sympathies for those poor parents, relatives and friends who lost someone in the Conneticut shooting. My God help you find comfort in this most difficult time.

Big banks don’t care about you

Sometimes I get really frustrated with conservatives when they spout off about how the market can take care of itself and doesn’t need any regulation. What a wonderful world they live in where business is honest and actually cares about its customers and reputation. Well, I have news for them…the big banks don’t care about the welfare of their kids, or their retirement, or their inflated mortgage. They don’t give a flip if you get a bad illness and get dumped by your insurance company because now you’ve become a liability instead of a cash cow. All they care about is MAKING MONEY. They don’t care if they have to pull the skin off your back, or cheat you, or bank fee you into the poorhouse.  THEY DON’T CARE. They are NOT going to regulate themselves because they want to make MONEY and if they have to think up cleaver ways of doing that, then that’s exactly what they are going to do. They all go to Ivy League business schools to learn exactly that… how to screw the average citizen out of their money so they can make more. When are people going to wise up and realize that corporate American is NOT your friend…it’s all business and how to make more cash is kink.

If they have to burry middle American under their corporate conniving then that’s exactly what they are going to do…guaranteed. Every, single, time.

My new website is up!

After days of pain and struggle I have finally repaired my website. I'm not sure what happened to all my links but the website was kind of old and needed an update anyway. I still need to do some tweaking but I think it looks pretty good. Hope everyone has a a Happy Easter!

Restaurant Review: Ay Jalisco Clermont

I am a great lover of Mexican food. Nothing is as satisfying as a spicy salsa with warm chips and melted cheese on a mexican dish. Since I just moved to the area I thought I'd try Ay Jalisco in Clermont, Florida. Well let me tell you it was not only bland but the service stunk. First of all, I was seated by a woman who acted like she'd rather be having metal rods stuck into her face than be there. She seated me with the haughty air of someone who thinks serving customers is WAY beneath her. There was also a snide aspect to her personality I really disliked.
I would have been willing to overlook her attitude if it hadn't been for how boring the food was. I ordered two beef tacos that came with rice and beans. When the waitress put the plate down I touched it and almost burned my fingers off. And she had the never to act like it was MY fault. Now let me ask you this, what is the purpose of heating up the plate to volcanic degrees? Are you trying to keep a poorly cooked meal piping hot? I'm confused. It's About TASTE. People! No plate has to be so hot it causes second degree burns if you touch the edge. Anyway...
On to the food. I've had tons of Mexican food in my life. Sometimes the salsa is too spicy or salty but I've never had it taste like dish water. It was dull and tasteless like someone had poured some tomato puree into a bowl and handed it over. Next the taco meat was tasteless. Even the cheese on top of the tacos was bland. I swear it's a bad scene when you're wishing you'd skipped this meal in favor of Taco Bell. Horrible service and a crapy meal.
At least it was cheap.

The Walking Dead is back on!

walking dead

Did Hershel know Sophia was in the barn all along? Why is he so keen to send our brave heroes and heroines to their death? Who's baby is it, Rick's or Shane's?

Will these zombies finally rot and die? Is going to the military base what everybody needs to do? I love me a good zombie hunting show. Go get 'em you talented cast you.

How quickly we forget the joys of our youth

I signed up my niece for riding lessons (La Finca Stables) and she's loving it. I took them too as a young girl and had a blast. There's nothing more fun than riding. I hope she sticks with this for a while, she's getting very good at it.  I'm also very pleased with her instructor, he's very good and extremely patient.

Why do people get pets they can’t afford?

In these tough economic times I understand suddenly not be able to afford your pets but for Heaven’s sake, do the right thing by them. Take them to a rescue or a shelter but don’t starve them. My niece is taking riding lessons at a place that rescues abandoned and neglected horses. Thank God for these people as they have saved about ten of these magnificent animals. Stop by their website and give if you can.
