At Last!

At last it's here! The Prints page went up yesterday afternoon. It turned out to be a bit more complicated than I thought, but my designer, Doug Felton did a great job keeping it simple and clean- like the rest of the site. If you've been checking in from time to time wondering when (or IF!) you'd ever see the prints, thank you for your patience. I really appreciate you hanging in there.

In the future I plan to add a list of available original artwork from Mercy Watson: Something Wonky This...

ALA Thoughts

Once again, I was fortunate enough to have Candlewick Press invite me to the American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. I'm still thinking about it. Here are a few random thoughts-

It was absolutely great to see Kate DiCamillo again. She's a hoot. I love her. I actually heard her laugh before I saw her in person when I arrived at the show. We had a couple of book signings together for the last (sob!) Mercy Watson. One librarian asked us if we were...

The Prints are Coming! The Prints are Coming!

Recently I've received a few e-mails from people wondering when my Prints will be available. I'm happy to report that I've been working with my fantastic web designer, Doug Felton, and we're almost ready to launch the Prints page. I have the finished prints here in my studio and they look great – bright and fun! I'm also offering (on the same page) a selection of original art from the Mercy Watson books. These, of course, are one of a kind gouache paintings and will be sold on a first come...
