YA Books to Movies in 2016

There's nothing better than the anticipation of your favorite books heading to the movie theater.

...actually watching the movie is sometimes a letdown, but I digress.

My Top YA Book Picks This Year

In the last year, I've read about 40 YA titles, mostly Si Fi (ish)/romance type books (but not all). First because that is the type of books, I like and second, I figured I was doing research and needed to get in as many as I could.

There are no books on this list that I didn't find something to like. There were some, I wish ended differently (Alliegent ... you know what you did.).

How to Write a Novel




Let me be the first to say. I am no expert in writing a novel.

Not yet.

Yes, I have spent the better part of a year penning probably around 100,000 words on my first novel. But it makes me no expert. This is a learning process people.

I still struggle with grammar and commas are my nemesis.

When I first got the idea to write Broken/Beautiful World, I pretty much surprised myself. I never had any inclination to write a novel and even marveled at the people who did.
