Surprise new book...out soon!!!

I've been working for what seems like a very long time on the next book in the Derry Women series, Delinquent Housekeeping and the God Particle. But then...suddenly...I started writing a new book, The Secret of Ursula's Stew...and it's almost finished! We travel to the 80s and the Naval Air Station at Keflavik, Iceland (!) for this one. New book update!! ...and some very sad news.

Hi guys! Sorry if you've been counting down the days to the release of the new book (now called Dirty Laundry and The God Particle), but it will now come out in the new year. But I suppose that's something to look forward to, and you can curl up with it during those long winter nights!
And, speaking of the change in title, one of my biggest fans, Deja Cheek, helped me with that. And I was saddened to learn that he passed away a few weeks ago. Saddened and shocked. He was such a fantastic person, and we'd become closer and closer as the years went by. I hope he's in a better place now. I'm now going to dedicate this book to his memory, and I feel so sad that it's taken me so long to finish this book. His last message to me was asking me when the book would be out, and I told him, "don't worry, Deja, it'll be out soon." Little did I realize...
Very, very sad. RIP, my friend.

New Box Set!!

Yaay! For those of you who like all your books together, Best Served Frozen, Static Cling and Emergency Exit are now all together in this classy box set! Wow! What a deal! And, if you've already read them all, it makes a perfect gift! (How I set all this up when I'm supposed to be finishing Dirty Laundry and the God Particle, I don't know. But fret not; it should be out before the end of the year!!! I'm typing as quickly as i can...!)

New Book coming...!

20,000 words written of the new book!!! And now I think it's going to be called A Mother, A Daughter, A Sister-In-Law and the God Particle. (subtitled A Mouthful?? ha ha ha!) The mother is, of course, Fionnuala, the daughter Moira (who, last we heard of, had written Lotto Balls of Shame and hidden herself away in Malta, but who is now working at the Large Hadron Collidor in CERN, and Ursula, who is in Derry for the launch of SlimJed Jerky at the Top Yer Trolley). And the God Particle is the Higgs Boson, which was discovered at CERN, and which many people think will lead to all manner of horrible, evil things, Black Holes, Armaggedon, etc. Fionnuala and Ursula must put their many differences aside and race to CERN to save? punish? Moira, and, screwdrivers in their handbags, rid the world of the evil that is the Large Hadron Collider! Have I gone crazy? Will this sell more than 3 copies?!!! Anyway, what do you think of these two covers?? Which is the best...??

Hi guys!!

A few of you have written to me asking what happened to my website! Well, months ago, I accidentally pressed the wrong button, and most of it disappeared!! As a friend of mine had made it for me, I didn't know what to do. So it lay unused for many months. For the past few days, though, I finally got off my lazy butt and made a new one!!
