HOLOGRAM : A HAUNTING is on a Goodreads Giveaway! Check it out.
A Reader's review:
"Piers Anthony was right when he described Hologram: A Haunting as "not an ordinary haunt story." The author does not concern himself with trying to terrify us; he simply tells a good story, focusing on a central character we can care about. Because we care about her, we become more and more anxious as her situation becomes more and more alarming. She's in over her head, and we worry about her, because there is no guarantee things will turn out well. The story flows beautifully; Mr. Martin's style is a pleasure, effective and never overwrought. It helps the reader glide along smoothly, and makes the paranormal events believable.
"I made the mistake of beginning the book one evening not long before I had to go to bed, and I HATED to put it down. I finished it the next evening, and felt very satisfied. There's a little flourish at the end that capped it off nicely.
"Those familiar with the author's other works may hesitate to give this book a chance, because it is a definite departure from what he's done well in the past. I'm very glad I gave it a try; I enjoyed it, and I intend to reread it."

Ghost Story Released!
HOLOGRAM: A HAUNTING has just been released.
From Best-selling Science Fiction and Fantasy writer PIERS ANTHONY:
"This is not an ordinary haunt story. There are nice bits of original thinking along the way, especially in the relevance of the title, and the denouement left me with mixed feelings, identifying as much with the haunts as with the protagonist. I saw the terminal fillip coming, and it gratified me."
Chicagoan Margaret Rockwell falls in love with a wonderful old Greek revival home in Hammond, Indiana, and convinces hesitant husband Kurt that fate meant it for them. So begins a journey that will take them down a circuitous path fraught with the unknown—and danger.
Why do the Rockwells, expecting their first child, seem at once welcomed and repelled? What does it mean when Margaret starts to dream of the family that built the house in 1910? For her the house comes alive with its own sounds, sights, thoughts, and intentions. How could the death of a child ninety years before impact their lives? And why?
