Eames Chairs & Uber Coolness

I was just in a cool soho loft being cool. And not only that, but adding to my coolness by sitting casually in one of these chairs. How cool they look and how cool you find yourself to be just sitting in them.

They are of course the lounge chair and ottoman by Charles and Ray Eames... and there's an uber cool NYT article about other Design Gems like them which you can read, handily enough, right here.

... a friend told me this funny story about when she went into Whole Foods. I had to draw it the minute we got off the phone... I agreed to leave her nameless for her own fashion protection. But that doesn't mean I can't publish it abroad...

Jorge Colombo drew the cover using Brushes, an application for iPhone, while standing for an hour outside Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in Times Square.
