Yesterday the Edinburgh International Book Festival finally made this year's program public. And I'm excited to say that I'll be on a panel with Anne Cassidy and Teri Terry on Wednesday, August 22nd at 5pm. We'll discuss crime fiction, dystopians and zombies!
And I'm one of the nominees for this year's Anobii First Book Award! Votes determine the winner, so if you liked The Other Life, you can leave your vote. :)

New BOOK DEAL! + celebration giveaway
I've been sitting on this news for months and it was so hard to keep silent. But today I can finally tell you about my new book deal! New book, new genre!
Here's the Publishers Marketplace announcement:

Young Adult Susanne Winnacker's IMPOSTOR, the story of a girl who uses her shape-shifting ability to assume the identity of a teenage murder victim and solve the mystery of a small-town serial killer, pitched as X-Men meets The Zodiac Killer, to Caroline Donofrio at Razorbill, in a two-book deal, by Jill Grinberg at Jill Grinberg Literary Management (World English).
I can't tell you how happy I am!!!! I love this book so so much. Razorbill/Penguin will publish it in 2013, probably in Spring/Summer. Want to know more about the book? Take a look at my inspiration board on Pinterest!
It's a YA thriller. I hope I can tell you much more about it soon!
And it's already up on goodreads! (if you want to add it or anything...hehe)

Bargain!
Starting at 6pm (PDT) today, the hardcover of THE OTHER LIFE will go on a deal price in the Summer Reading Store on Amazon! So if you want a copy, that's your chance!
Oh, and btw today's the third day of my vegetarian diet and so far I'm not missing meat or eggs at all! :)

The Telegraph recommended THE OTHER LIFE for teens who loved The Hunger Games! Here's part of what they said:

YAmazing Race

German cover!
