It’s Time for Our Annual Díapalooza!

Diapalooza 2018Welcome to Díapalooza (DPA), our annual online celebration of children and bookjoy–all children, all cultures, all languages. This is our 22nd anniversary of Día a word that literally means “day” for our daily commitment to celebrating children and connecting them to books. Some also use the word for Diversity in Action. We’ll be featuring our partners all month. Join us in creating the annual April Children’s Day, Book Day tradition.

Celebrate World Theatre Day on March 27

Every March 27, the International Theater Institute celebrates World Theatre Day in order to share the joy of theatre with others. In Bravo, Chico Canta! Bravo!, by Pat and her daughter Libby Martinez, a brave bilingual mouse and his family live in an old theater. When they decide to put on their own play and run into Little Gato-Gato, Chico Canto’s language skills prevent disaster and save the day!
