Best review ever
I just read a new review of Seraphim and I'm just... I have no words. This made my day. Tell me what you think.
Dan Santos
5.0 out of 5 stars Explicit but well written and very entertaining.

Format: Kindle Edition
There is explicit, and then there is shocking. Savonarola would have had a field day thrashing this novel, were it not so creative, imaginative and so very well written.
(Clean Spoiler) Wyatt’s hearing voices. He loses his job and eventually his wife. The problem is, the voices are real; and Wyatt has no clue about who he really is. Imagine, if you will, God asleep while his more powerful archangels try to deal with Lucifer’s rogue (the mildest way to describe her) sister, who goes on a an indescribably sordid rampage.
I can’t go into more without shaking to the core readers steeped in the Judeo-Christian tradition. The story has several explicit scenes, but the plot would be banned by religious institutions for describing the most powerful celestial figures as uninhibited human beings. Why did I read it? I read it because it is a masterpiece of imagination and literary devices. Swartz is that good.
If you are sensitive to explicit scenes or religious, stay away from this Five Stars novel.

Series News!
Titles & plots for books 4-7 are now sorted which means I'm committed to 7 being the last book in The Seventh Day Series. That's not to say there couldn't be spin-off series', especially considering the new and super interesting characters I'm introducing in book 3, but the main story will be wrapped up with 7. Hoping to get all 5 remaining books out by the end of 2021.
Reminder: Book 2, Nephilim, is available for pre-order and officially drops Oct. 26th. You can find it on Amazon and Book Depository. https://www.amazon.com/Nephilim-Seven...

Review: Environmental Health
My 9 year old's review of Environmental Health by Beffy Parkin.
Environmental Health is a collection of poems about saving the oceans, bees and trees. It’s informative, important and a little scary. Cleaning up the environment SHOULD be a priority for everyone and this book illustrates why. Recommend for kids 11 and older. It would be a great addition to 5th or 6th grade classroom or school library. Environmental Health is now available on Amazon and 10% of sale profits go to environmental charities. Click the link down below to get your copy.

Review: The River Fairy's Wish
My 9 year old's review of The River Fairy’s Wish written by Cyrena Shows, illustrated by Anastasia Yatsunenko:
First, fairies are my favorite, so bonus points right away. I love the purple color scheme and the artwork is BEAUTIFUL. I really like the lyrical way it was written and I’m OBSESSED with the song. I highly recommend picking up a copy of this super cute story. Two thumbs up.
The River Fairy’s Wish is available now on Amazon and Audible.

Jolene Hughes Seraphim Review
Holy S*** what an absolutely incredible read. I will admit it took me just over a week to get through (nothing to do with the book) but what a fantastic read this was. It instantly captured me and sucked me in. It had a wonderful mix of supernatural characters. The author didn’t hold back, which in some places was rather shocking, however this did not spoil the story, in fact it drew me in even more. This is a fantastic start to The Seventh Day Series and also a must read for fans of the supernatural. I look fprward to seeing what Book 2 holds.-- Jolene Hughes

Review- We Toot!
My 9 year old daughter's review of We Toot! by Ashley Wheelock and Arwen Evans, illustrated by Sandie Sonke:
First, I love the illustrations. The art is colorful and the expressions on the girls faces really bring the story to life.
I also liked the poetic writing style the authors used. It kept me engaged and entertained.
The story itself was interesting and super fun. I especially liked the elephant in the room reference.
The moral of the story is the most important and my favorite part of the book. The message that we should love ourselves and that our friends will support us no matter what made me appreciate my sisters and my best friend, Lilly, even more.
We Toot is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read and I highly recommend it for kids of all ages. 5 stars all day!
We Toot is available now on Amazon and Book Depository and at Barnes and Noble.
