Radio interviews
I did two recent interviews for my book A Splash of Kindness: The Ripple Effect of Compassion, Courage & Kindness.
I really enjoyed doing these interviews. The radio hosts did an excellent job in drawing out the essence of the book.

Can anyone recommend a good cloning service?
I just wanted to say thanks to my goodreads friends for all the great book recommendations. I get frustrated because (a) life is so crazy it's often hard to find time to read, and (b) when I do have time to read, I am a very slow reader. I find myself analyzing phrases and paragraph structure, etc. and so I read at a snail's pace. But I love to read, and I love discovering new books and new writers.
So thanks for all the recommendations. Now, could anyone recommend a reliable cloning service? I will have my clone do all the tasks and chores of daily life, and then I will spend my time reading...

The Power of Music
Have you ever wanted to break down and cry when listening to a particular song? Maybe it's the inspiring message, or the moving performance, or the sheer beauty of the piece.
Well, don't get me started or I could on on all day naming song after song...but take for example just one song: the classic "Ooh, Child" by the Five Stairsteps. "Things are gonna get easier" yeah, that's something we're all praying for.
Try this. Go to youtube and listen to the original song by the Five Stairsteps, and then hear a fantastic cover by Donnie McClurkin & Kirk Franklin.
I am not going to admit to being a crybaby. But I will say this, when I hear those two songs, my vision gets blurry and I have to blink a lot.

Winston Churhill
I have a profound respect for Winston Churchill. I just wanted to share a short passage I wrote about him that will be in my upcoming book. (It should be available mid-May.)
It’s amazing the impact just one person can have on an entire nation. Sometimes a single person can forever change the course of a country's destiny.
Take the great British statesman Churchill, for example. He had an uncanny ability for choosing just the right words, and delivering them in just the right manner—a manner so forceful, so powerful, and so positive that the spirit of an entire nation was bolstered and comforted. As German bombs exploded on British soil—demolishing buildings, maiming and killing citizens—Churchill's resolve never wavered. His stirring radio addresses, and his passionate challenge to “Never, never, never give up,” rallied a nation beleaguered and ravaged by war. Television news legend, Edward R. Murrow said of the great leader that he “mobilized the English language and sent it into battle.” Churchill’s words, selected unerringly, and the confidence that radiated from his entire being, gave the British hope, and the will to endure and fight on.
And Here's a great quote from the great statesman:
So long as I am acting from
duty and conviction,
I am indifferent to taunts and jeers.
I think they will
probably do me
more good than harm.
Sir Winston Churchill
Speech, House of Commons
(6 Dec 1946)
