Honours Program has four course which is For Science- B.Sc (Hon’s), For Business Studies/Commerce- BBA, For Humanities/Arts- B.S.S, B.A (Honours). But anyone can apply any post if they are eligible to apply for NU Honours admission.

In the National University’s 2023-2024 academic year, the following procedures regarding subject changes for students admitted in the 2nd merit lists will be implemented:
2nd merit list will be announced on April 18, 2024, at 4 PM. The results will be accessible through SMS (send “nuathnroll no” to 16222) from 4 PM on the same day and on the admission website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) from 9 PM.Students admitted in the 2nd merit list who were also admitted to any educational program in the academic year 2022-2023 must cancel their previous admission by April 24, 2024, and complete the final admission form online. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of their admission for the 2023-2024 academic year.Students placed in the 2nd merit list who wish to change their subject must select the “Yes” option in the specific cell of the final admission form. Subject changes will be based on merit and subject-wise vacant seats in respective colleges.The admission process for students admitted in the 2nd merit list will follow the schedule below:From April 18, 2024: Download the admission form of the changed subject online.April 21, 2024: Collection of print/PDF copy of the admission form.April 28, 2024: Confirmation of admission for students who changed their subject.No fee is required for subject changes.Students placed in the 2nd merit list must fill the online admission form on the National University admission website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) and collect the print/PDF copy.A registration fee of Rs. 565/- (Five Hundred and Sixty-Five) is applicable for students placed in the 2nd merit list. This fee should be paid to the concerned college through mobile banking or as prescribed by the college.Final admission confirmation by the college for students placed in the 2nd merit list must be completed by April 21, 2024. College authorities must verify all information and photographs displayed in the admission form.For any discrepancies observed, the college authorities should report the matter in writing to the Dean, School of Undergraduate Education, National University, Gazipur-1704.
For payment of the registration fee, the college must download the Pay Slip by clicking on the Admission Payment Info (Honours) option through Login. The registration fee should be deposited at any Sonali Bank branch with the provided account number and the receipt collected with its print copy.

The National Univesity has already announced that this year the Honours and equivalent exams will start from May 19 2024.
