GoodReads a New Frontier
Way back when, I joined GoodReads. I can't remember why. Probably, Mandy M. Roth told me to so I did. :)
I thought, huh. I can have bookshelves and find other books. Okay, that I get. But someone mentioned the other day how they don't like when an author doesn't have any events on GoodReads.
I have no idea what this means, but I plan to find out. And then see.
An event? I can have events here? But how? What does one do at a GR event? First, I shall have to find one to attend and then perhaps I will learn. For now, for now I will quietly explore and see what else GR has to offer both the reader and the author because clearly, I've been missing things.
During these vast explorations, I will find new additions to increase my TBR pile.
Hope you're all having a great week!

Autumn!
Autumn is in the air! Yes! I love autumn, I do believe it is my favorite season. Is it the smell? The colors, not that I love burnt orange or anything (hook ‘em!). I love the scents of fall, the sights, the feel. You know? And being a Texan, I absolutely love the promise of [...]

Excerpt from Deadly Secrets (Kinncaid #5)
OK, so everyone’s been asking about Quin’s story, for quite some time. What can I say, it’s been through multiple rewrites, scrapped a whole plot and started over, rewrote the beginning so many times I lost count. Quin’s story originally started out in Ireland after Grammy’s funeral. He fell for Bridget Kirkdonnell, who believed in [...]

Don’t Give Up
Bullies in today’s world seem to, sadly, almost have free reign. They always have had to some point or the other. Kids will be kids, people should learn to get thicker skin, sticks and stones… Yeah, well, that’s all well and good, but hurt is hurt. Some are hurt a bit, others are crushed beyond [...]

Thoughts for Wednesday: Today’s Realizations
I admit right now, I’ve stolen this short posting idea from my friend Sydney Somers: Today I Realized: 1.) I’m not an OCD housekeeper. And I’ve accepted this…er okay, I’m working on accepting it. Alas the house does not clean itself and there are no hunky dudes showing up in my driveway armed with vacuums, [...]
