Good Morning

Good Morning!

It looks like the book delays will be alot smaller than expected.
Book 2 needs a small fix in one chapter and book 3 is always finished.
The book blurbs need to be written, then the covers revealed.

A few days ago, I had a chance to (partially) outline book 4 of the Max Hamby series, plus jot down notes for 5, 6 and 7.

I hope you all are doing well and feeling fine. May the day/week be good to you.

K. :)

Updates

Hello my friends,

I hope you're all doing well and feeling fine.
Book 2 and 3 of the Max Hamby series is in their final stages with a full read through and another editing check.

Unfortunately, there will be a delay in the release. We're probably looking at a November release for book 2 and book 3 should not be far from that.

The cover reveal/s will also be delayed until a week or two before the book release.

In the meantime, book 1: Max Hamby and the Blood Diamond is available through Amazon and Createspace.

Amazon US: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N...
Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0...

(also available across all Amazon websites)

Fantastic Beasts & J.K. Rowling

Filming has begin, my friends. I am quite excited to see how it turns out. It's as close to Harry Potter as I can get these days. I'll take it. J.K. is writing the screenplay. I think that's pretty cool.
I, instantly, fell in love with HP. The books, the movies, everything. What about you? Do you miss HP? Are you excited for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?

The adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.

http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Fantastic_Beasts_and_Where_to_Find_Them_%28film_trilogy%29
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an upcoming trilogy of films based on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them , one of the companion books to J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.[5] Rowling will make her screen writing debut with this film.[6] David Heyman, who produced the Harry Potter films, will be returning as producer for Fantastic Beasts.[2]

J.K. Rowling has said that the film will start in New York, around 1920, seventy years before the Harry Potter series, and will feature Newton Scamander as a main character. It is unclear whether the rest of the film will be set in New York.[5] Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tells us that Scamander had been travelling the world in research of magical creatures since 1918, culminating with the publication of his masterpiece in 1927.

8 Famous Authors On The First Book They Ever Loved

I absolutely LOVED books as a kid. Still do. But, as a kid I was a voracious reader. I don't remember the very first book I read, but I can tell you I was addicted to Sweet Valley High for a while.
I think I have more favorites now, though.

8 Famous Authors On The First Book They Ever Loved

What does it mean to love a book? Should it be relatable? Beautiful? Must you share common interests? Is it not just as exciting to curl up with one you don't fully understand?

The one I'm most passionate about, which is to say the one I'm currently reading, is Graham Greene's The End of the Affair.

It was love at first sentence, a line the designer of the reprint edition wisely chose to place on the back cover: "A story has no beginning or end: arbitrarily one chooses a moment of experience from which to look ahead." Greene and I have been inseparable ever since. In fact, you might say we've been spending too much time together, that I've been neglecting my previous interests -- those books penned by sharp or wounded women. But, as Greene sagely notes, this type of love is prone to running its course quickly.

Habit and admiration, on the other hand, are more likely to last. Which is why, after being read The Billy Goats Gruff every single night for weeks, my three-year-old self declared it my favorite book. I couldn't read yet, but I had the thing memorized, a fact I was happy to demonstrate to everyone I met, troll voice and all. There's not much of a moral to The Billy Goats Gruff, a peculiar fairy tale about pudgy farm animals. But it instilled in me a great reverence for silliness, a quality I still very much value in a story. In that sense, you could say I've never forgotten the first book I ever loved.

Book 2 Tease

Max Hamby and the Emerald Hunt
Coming Fall 2015

"Let me out, witch," growled Alice. She began to hum off key.
Griselda stepped away from the door.
"I can help the little wee babes," Alice sung sweetly. "Through the woods and into the dark. Where he whispers the words to make his mark. Little boy of green..." Alice chuckled. "...has gone to the wizard who is evil and mean."

Book Updates

Phase two of editing book 2: Max Hamby and the Emerald Hunt is complete.
Now on to Phase 3: Typing it into my computer and giving it a read through and clean up.
Book 3: Max Hamby and the Onyx Eyes is written and waiting in the wings to be edited.
Four more books in the Max Hamby series to go and two handfuls or more of various other titles waiting to be written.

Three books under my belt is feeling pretty awesome.

Update

Good Morning, my friends.

It is Monday. Another week and a new day where anything is possible.
I am half way through this round of editing with book 2 and the callus on my finger grows ever bigger. ;)
But, it is all good. Once book 2 is done, then it's on to book 3.
The last step is final edits on the computer.
I hoe you're all doing well and feeling fine. May your day be filled with love, light and joy.

K. :)
