A small update

 Hello, my friends,

I hope you all are doing well and feeling fine. I hope your holiday was a great one for you and yours. Ours was quiet. There has been a bit of bug going around and we have been a little under the weather for the past few weeks.

But, although slowly, I have been going through book 5 to get it ready for its release. You will be happy to know that it is very, very close. ;)

Once 5 is released, then it's on to book 6 and 7. They will be outlined between now and the beginning of the new year. I'm hoping to release book 6 by May 2017 and book 7 shortly after that. You can join the mailing list or check back for more info at a later date.

Speaking of holidays...since the holidays have officially begun, if you're looking for a new read for yourself or to give as a gift, please check out the Max Hamby series. It's packed with action, adventure, magic and lots of dwarfs, trolls, witches, wizards and some one of kind creatures.

Last Phase

Hello, my lovely readers and friends,

It has been a while since I last posted. Editing book 5 is my reason for the silence and I can officially say, I am in the last leg of editing. It is the longest part, but the most important. This will my one and only update until Max Hamby and the Blue Fire is 100% complete, then there will be a bunch of posts, an update to the mailing list with lots of fun things, tweets, etc.

I cannot believe it's almost done. 5 books, my friends! 5 books in two years and just like the first through the fourth, I can't wait for you to read the new addition to the Max Hamby series.

Book 6 and 7 will be released between Spring and Fall 2017.

Don't forget, Book 1 is still on sale for 99 cents and will be until further notice. ;)

Hello friends and lovely readers,

I can officially say, Book 5 - Max Hamby and the Blue Fire is complete!
Yay! This one seemed to take quite a bit longer than the others and has a slightly darker feel.

Now, it's onto editing. I'm hoping to have it ready for you by the end of October.

And in case you haven't noticed and I probably said this already, book 1 is now 99 cents. I'm not sure how long that price will last, so like, share, buy, blog, post, tweet.....it's up to you and always appreciated.

Just popping in real quick to let you the first book in the Max Hamby series is now 99 cents permanently. It's an over 200 page novel filled with action, adventure and loads of fantasy. It's available at all the major online retailers. If you love to read or know someone who does, go grab. It's a great deal! And of course, a review is always appreciated.

If you don't see 99 cents, you might be viewing the paperback or the lower price it might need another day, but it should be 99 cents on all the sites now.

Book 5 is three quarters of the way done. We are almost there, my friends! Whew! This one took a bit longer, but there's still lots characters and things happening within the story that you'll want to check out.

And one last thing before it's time to get down writing, I do have a mailing list. It's on the home page of this site. Please feel free to sign up. I only send the list out once a month or less. It's filled with character description, places and things from the books, quotes, announcements, humor, book "recipes" and more.

A new day

Good Morning, lovely people,

It's a beautiful morning with a slight chill in the air.
I am outside with coffee in hand preparing to start chapter 23 of book 5.
There's a wild rabbit that's been living in the yard for some time and lately it's been chomping on the leafy weeds every morning I step outside. It is a cute distraction.

I love this time of morning (right before it gets light out and a bit after).
The world is still asleep. It's just me and possibly an early rising bird or two.

Can you believe it will be September in a couple of days? I would like to roll back summer and start again. ;) It is much too short and winter is incredibly long, gray and cold. It is not my favorite season, as you can probably tell. lol. I find it easier to write when I'm outside come the warmer months.

Not too much news to update with today. I am about to begin chapter 23, as I said above. Normally, I have a feeling what chapter the book will end on, but not this one. It could end with 23 or 30, not sure. There are so many characters that want to have a say and so much going on.

September 18th marks the two year anniversary of the Max Hamby series. I can't believe it's been that long. The momentum in gaining readers has been slow, but the readers that have discovered the Max Hamby series are super fantastic.

If you like or happened to know someone who likes action, adventure and fantasy, please help spread the word. You can find the series at most any online retailer and it's always appreciated.
