Christmas Eve Eve

Good Morning, my friends.

Happy Sunday & Happy Christmas Eve Eve. ;)

I LOVE the sweet euphoria of #coffee in the morning, don't you? Surprisingly, I used to be a heavy tea drinker & by heavy I mean, I'd drink it daily, but add two tea bags into every mug trying to make it super strong. I know...Weird, but hey, we all have our quirks. Now? I drink coffee from a cup that looks like a mini beer keg. lol.

Anyway, how are you? I hope you're all doing well & feeling fine. Loads of errands between Friday & yesterday. I can happily say everything is done. The traffic & crowds were horrendous. I'd love to be one of those people that get their holiday shopping done through the year or at the very least, six months ahead of time. Maybe in 2019. It could happen. :)

On the agenda for today is a bit of cleaning & straightening up. Santa cannot walk into stacks of papers, craft projects & other various piles.

Good Morning, my friends. I hope #TheWeekend was good to you. It's going to be a mix of rain & sleet here, possibly snow. I need more #coffee.

Since we're getting ever closer to Christmas, there's probably many of you that bake during the holiday season. Well, Nodrik and his brothers also love to bake and every year they make one special recipe. For today, I leave you with Lemon Libbies. Have a great one!

Lemon Libbies were named after Libby Darkspar, the greatest baker to ever walk any gnome village.

Gnomes and other creatures would come for miles around to taste her confectionaries and many more offered to purchase Libby's recipes, but she always declined.

Until one horrible morning...

Someone was willing to do whatever it took to get his or her hands on the recipes. A Libby, gooseberry and pine nut pie was found still warm in the bakery.

Luckily, Libby had taken precautions long ago and handed her book to a trusted group of gnomes for safe keeping.

Once a year, Nodrik and his brothers gather the ingredients to make a special batch of the cookies in honor of their friend.
