9 Reasons to Learn Italian

Learn ItalianPeople are often charmed by the musicality of Italian and the promise of la dolce vita. Italian ranks fourth among the world's most learned languages, but most importantly, it's associated with a rich culture whose influence extends to all four corners of the globe. If you are trying to broaden your career opportunities, travel with confidence, or simply master your menu, you can't go wrong with the language of da Vinci and Mona Lisa.

Conditional Perfect, Second Form

Second form of the French conditional perfectThe second form of the conditional perfect suffers from something of an identity crisis: it looks like the pluperfect subjunctive but has the value of the conditional perfect. The second form of the past conditional is used mostly in si clauses and is a literary tense, so is found only in very formal written French.
