Q & A: DOES READING FICTION BOOKS HELP YOU BECOME A SMARTER PERSON?

Q: Does reading fiction books help you become a smarter person? Did Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates read literary fiction novels or do they only read non-fiction books? A: I find different genres of books exercise different areas of the brain and contribute to different forms of intelligence. It perhaps goes without saying that reading nonfiction can make you "smarter," especially with regards to the subject of that particular book.
