Amazon Kindle Reading Apps
Dear Readers,
I have received a few emails and posts on Facebook inquiring about reading my books if you do not have a kindle. The good news is that amazon has free reading apps available for most devices. For example, if you typically read from iBooks on your iPad, Mac, or iPhone, you can download the free kindle reading app for ios. For those who read on a Nook you can download the free kindle reading app for one of your other devices: iPad, tablet, smartphone, or computer. Here is a link to the amazon kindle reading app page.
The other question that I sometimes get is whether my books will be available on iBooks or Nook. At present I have an exclusive agreement with Amazon. I am in amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing Select program so that my books are available as part of Amazon's Kindle Unlimited program (where readers have a monthly subscription and can download as many books as they want from the Kindle Unlimited catalog of books).
As an independent author I am always taking a look at how the publishing landscape is changing -- and it is changing rapidly. At present, I get approximately 50% of my income from royalties that I earn when my books are downloaded as part of the Kindle Unlimited program. The number of sales that I would need to generate on iBooks, Nook, and Kobo to match the income from Kindle Unlimited is significantly beyond what I would currently be able to sell on those sales channels. My readership is growing through the Kindle Unlimited program and downloads are steady.
Each book has a 90 day enrollment period, so I need to give each title that period of time before I can make it available anywhere else. Kindle Unlimited is a new program. I evaluate month to month how it is performing. It is possible that my books may be available on iBooks and Nook in the future. A lot of that will depend on how successful the Kindle Unlimited program is for both readers and authors. It is too early in the program to know its long term success. For now, however, it is making my writing career a reality by allowing me to pay my bills through my writing.

Amazon UK Best Seller
Wow! I am absolutely amazed at discovering that the entire Seduce Me series is on the Amazon UK Best Seller List in Fiction Coming of Age. Thank you to all of my wonderful readers, especially in the UK. I never thought that I could make a best seller list. Thank you all!
The rankings change hourly, but we've been on the list since yesterday. At the time of writing this post (8:54 AM CDT) Seduce Me is at #62, Seduce Me Again is at #72, Seduce Me All Over is at #69, and Seduce Me Forever is at #73.
